Edit Critique
Would really appreciate it if anyone could critique this short edit i've made...

Not bad - pretty sure that in general that's what people expect - quick edits to the goods.
That said whenever you change time or place I'd use a dissolve instead of a cut - it gives the viewer a clue that you're changing location or that it's a different day - less jarring.
If that's you skiing you kick ass and I'm impressed.

Critique for a promotional video to get sponsors? Or is it just for fun and you want to know how your editing is?

uh, it's pretty cool. I spy your NS stickers so I assume that's who you made this for. I'm sure they'll dig it more than tgr forums.
editing is good enough for the quality of video. The only thing that could make it better would be clearer video, and/or better post-production like color correction. But, it's probably just going to be a better cam that's gonna do it for you. Next year huh...
Was that GoPro HD? Throw in some sick shots from a good HD hand cam and you've got a super solid edit.
