According to Tom, this actually had been skied before and therefore qualifies as an entrance, although we didn't enter this way:
And here is the entry ridge for many a run off the Aigui tram:
Talk about anticipation:

Ok here are a few from some less well known spots:
Couloir de la Mina - Porte Puymorens, Fr - about a 45degree entrance but flattens out to around 38degrees
View looking up.
Coulée des Cabines - Mont Dore
The 'Y' Mont Dore, France
If you are a resident of the Axis of Weasel this month's French 'Montagnes Magazine' was impressed by our article on Mont Dore. Perfide Rosbifs.

This is Voodoo Chile, one of the many steep couloirs in a small valley in northern Norway.

Thanks for that edg....forgot my manners, as well as how to link pics, last time!
Yeah, got quite lucky as was there for a month (feb->mar) and it coincided with some good snow snow made for some interesting skiing as it was my first visit to the area. Plus one of my best friends spent 5 seasons there so had the skinny on where to look for some nice stuff elsewhere in the area
Don't rate the link to La Plagne though - takes soooooo long to get over, it hardly seems worth it!Riding bikes, but not shredding pow...

Tries the La Plagne link once, and it did take forever. There seem to be some good stuff over there if you're staying that side, but the sun tends to beat your to it, and if you're going over from Les Arcs just too much damned effort.
And no problem!
