Got any good entrance pics? (stoke thread, hopefully)
I saw this picture in another thread:
and i like it a lot. Does anybody else have pictures from the top, looking down? I love pics like this, because then i can imagine what it would be like to ski the run myself, instead of watching some other guy ski it. (not that those aren't cool too).

This was the first day that the Aiguille du Midi was open, with the exit tunnel not quite clear of snow and ice. The only people up here were sightseeing tourists and skiers who, with their guides, would rope down the trecherous Arete knife edge to a safe spot and put on their skis.
.....then the unfortunate happens as LITT runs away and comes to a rest in a shadowy section to the left of your screen, which was a hidden crevasse.

Awesome! This is exactly what I'm looking for. If you can give me the name of the run and the location, that would kick ass. i think i'm gonna make a coffee table book and call it 'anticipation'

I found a couple.
Sonora Pass:
The ant-sized little speck at the bottom of the chute in the open area in the snow below the trees is my buddy Doug. He is actually close to 6 feet tall.
Near Pacific Crest Trail off of Red Lakes/Blue Lakes Road:

I didn't go...
Ohau, NZ Hemi's Bowl skiers right on the high side of righteousness. Tony leading straight to Heaven. He had gone down to the cliff and had to hike back up. Kreitler did it in THE CONTINUUM
My meisly track is the rock hopper in the bowl. Tony in the pic also did the chute (center of the photo) that was an arm width wide for 50 + feet. That kid was so righteous... he now works in India for Jesus. He has a Mission and saves the needy and magot infested sick. Crazy Kiwi
