thats Chile right? just make sure you scrub your speed before the coverage gets too low. The good news is you could just hitch a ride back up in a enormous dump truck
Carry on my wayward son...

There are a shlt ton of open pit mines like that in nevada. Some of them at elevation and that get quite a bit of snow. They look good to go from an airplane the right time of year.
Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp

I went from super stoked to emotionally broke in two clicks. Bummer.

I've looked at that mine from the air as well, with more snow. It would be sick, but lots of flat landings that may take their toll by the bottom.
Plus, with those flat landings, clicking out of a shoe and falling off another tier or two would really suck.Last edited by huckasoreass; 04-26-2010 at 06:14 PM.

There are some old quarries up high in the mountains some places that I know get enough snow to be skiable, and I've thought for a while they could make for some sick looking pics.
Here's one up ashcroft. The aspect isnt the greatest to get a lot of snow, but maybe on a big year lines could be linked together connecting the bigger drops.
