    yo, opening all those runs must take a lot of avy control. whoa. and when the dude is holding on to the rope, who's responsible if it breaks? all looks a bit sketchy to me..

    and why do they ski with their backpacks on, its lift served lol.
    edit: i think i know why the backpacks, they got the french style lunch with them complete with 50 bottle selection of wine and some stinky cheese.. sigh, euros.

    Anselme Baud book description of the Pasarelle is funny. Basically he says the snow was bullet proof on his first descent in 1979 and he never went back.
    Just read it again - and same section says Tardivel did the very first west couloir in 1994. (which is not that long ago)

    That vid is awesome. I was watching it like two nights ago, and though, wow this vid is ridiculous I should post it. And then when I checked today, someone already posted it.

    Sick video, Sick terrain, what more can you ask for. One day, I will ski that.
