Shit, I love my dog. I hope he never dies.
But owning a dog has its huge rewards and major responsibilities--with the heaviest resoponsibility being the fact you will out-live your dog and have to face a tough time..."There's a truth that sanity denies...." --Sprung Monkey

Well done piece.
Oden was a cute little tri-pup. Seemed to help that dude through some tough times....

I showed it to some friends and one guy said he had seen it before, and that he thought it was a nice tribute to his dog at first, but the further along it went the more he didn't like the guy.
My response was that I don't know what I thought of the guy, not sure you were really supposed to like him. But I do know that he loved his dog, and that his dog made him a better person. And that was the point."fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ

"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy

Word gorms....
I can't watch, my best friend just put down her best friend yesterday. Maybe in a few days.
I lost my mind, was absolutely batshit and useless, for about 6 weeks when I put my horse down.
Sorry for everyone with the aging dogs/animals. The joy they bring to our lives is worth the pain of sending them over the rainbow when they need to go. sigh.
