Moab trail info?
Anybody been to Moab within the past week (11-18 April) that can give a trail conditions report? Snow still up high, muddy, etc? We're heading there 22-25 April. Thanks for any info!

I was there Apr 3-11. Rode Porcupine, Amasa Back/Jackson's rim, Poison spider, Sovereign. Road biked Dead Horse Point. No snow on any of the MTB trails I was on, but there's still a lot of snow in the La Sals (I skied there one day and it was veryniiiice.) I don't know if the whole Enchilada is dry but the main Porcupine Rim is.
Fruita's also looking awesome, rode stuff off of 18 road and near Kokopelli trail (Horsethief/Mary's, etc).
Have fun!Not on here much anymore. Drop me an email if you want to contact me. Have a wonderful winter!

That is awesome news! Now if we can just have the rain that's expected to hold off. Thank you!

Keep an eye on this thread on mtbr, most recent updates say UPS and LPS are good now.

Thanks for the link, Catch22. With this weeks weather being so warm in Moab, here's to hoping that Kokopelli is clear(ish) when we show up.

rode from top of UPS down today - everything was bone dry
looked a bit muddy above the trailhead
frick, porcupine rim is a stellar descent - my first time riding a 6inch trail bike

Quick TR:
2 laps on UPS/ LPS/ Porc Rim on Saturday and it was awesome! Tacky at the top, firm sand in the middle and fast at the bottom. Rumor in town was that they were starting to shuttle to the top of Kokopelli Sunday. Still lots of snow in the La Sals but last weekend's trail conditions were PERFECT otherwise!
