Any major differences of 09 vs 10 Fox 36 and RP23
Looking at some 09 leftovers for a deal and found a good one. Wondering if there are really any major difference is ride quality between 09 and 10 versions of fox 36 and RP23. Sure they made changes, they have to for marketing and development. The new for this year RP23 boost valve?
And I didn't see any real change for the float 36. Are they really worth it if both are new for a large chunk of change?More fucked up than a cricket in a hubcap

I've read some reviews that say the boost valve is good, but over winter I went to a basic suspension class at PUSH and they were saying it's hype more than anything.

i rode a 2009 36 float RC2 for 10 minutes last season and bought a 2010 of the same model. It could just be my head, or that I dont have the right pressure yet, but it seemed like the 2009 felt a little better. Still love my fork though, but Im coming from a hunk of shit. (also a 55)
you're welcome to pedal my fork around whenever you want if that helps you

Aren't they finally making a 180mm 36?

Yes, and now I have to figure out if I want the 180 Talas or a DH 2-step (which isn't out yet either for some reason) for the HL.

Son of bitch!!! Go-ride has the new 180s...must not buy Talas 180...must not buy Talas 180...wait...
"We designed the 36 180 mm series with an incredibly large amount of bushing overlap and a new below axle tube design, creating an extremely stiff chassis and the lowest axle-to-crown distance available in a 180 mm fork."
What's that mean? I wonder how this compares to the A2C on my old 888..."I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."

^^
I too love that they boast the low A to C and then don't actually list what it is. I got to put my mits on a 180 Float over the weekend. Sexy time.
A Totem 2-Step seems more fitting to the beef of the Highline. The Fox 180 did look nice however.

If I purchased a 180mm fork, I'd go with the Totem and it's 40mm stantions.

Crunk, you rock!
I'm coming from 579, and the Totem and 180 36 are the same at 565. No way I'd go for the shorter 160. What I really want is the Totem 2-step DH, but unless I'm missing it, that's been like "coming soon" for quite a few months now."I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."
