I get there 1-2 days a year. It is all legit.
Steep runs on the backside that are not prone to getting sun baked
No crowds
Delicious, cheap food (a 3$ homemade cinnamon roll that is 4-5 inches tall and takes up 1/3 of a dinner plate)
Incredible rustic vibe
Now just don’t tell anyone

BTW, I meant to write this response, but forgot to... I wouldn't consider the backside "gnarly"... Rather, it is steep without many obstacles or exposure. So it isn't really hard skiing, but it's really fun skiing.

well then, I guess i should take my cousin up on his offer to come. He was an instructor this year @ discovery & told me i should come check it out.
He finally has it good. Fishing guide in the summer & ski instructor in the winter.
