    Maroon Bowl 03.29.10 Vid

Not a whole lot of editing going on with this, but thought we should share some ski action from Maroon Bowl at Aspen Highlands today.

    To answer some questions now:
"Yes, I like the Black and White action."
"Yes, this was really shot today."
"Yes, the last guy in the video throws his skis and poles across Maroon Creek!"

Nicely done! That's gonna make some people a lil jealous. Did Greg use the Houston Handbag to get across the creek?

    not a bad monday
I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

People who don't think the Earth is flat haven't skied Vail.

Nice video! Throwing the gear across Maroon Creek is standard for me, followed by crawling on my hands and knees across that bridge! I only had a pole fall short and float away once...

    Understatement of the week.

Man, skiing is the easy part.

Very well done. What camera are you shooting with? The zoom is very nice. Great angles!

Those tracks were almost completely covered up by the wind today.

That was a Canon XH-A1 -- but long shots like that are all about a good tripod and head.
