Fuck you CBS!
Two other close games on in the final minutes and I (west coast CA) get to watch a 20 point blowout with Cal/Duke. I love it when Greg Gumble throws acid in my eyes "Now for a tourney update lets recap what you missed"

At one point during the Cornell/Wisconsin game there were 9 white guys and only 1 black guy on the court. That's gotta be some kind of record.

I keep expecting to see someone use the "granny" free throw technique.

The St. Mary's guys are close. They shoot threes funny too.

So um, lots of "experts" on the old interwebz think the Big Red can actually beat Kentucky. As much as I'd love to see this happen, I'm not so sure. They'll have almost home court advantage and are on fire right now, but it's freekin Kentucky. What says the TGR contingent?
I wish I had $100 sitting around I could blow on a ticket to that game....

Obviously they have to stay out of foul trouble, make it a half court game and hope K is cold and they're hot. Hows that for some real esoteric inside game shit ?? !
Kentucky should blow them out of the water by 20. They'll have all week to prep for the game. Calipari might be pond scum, but he's well educated basketball pond scum. Fast break 'em to death."You damn colonials and your herds of tax write off dressage ponies". PNWBrit

Yeah, a trainwreck of a bracket for me too. Big Least really screwed the pooch (no offense meant to dogs).

Wash is playing tough right now. Not saying they're going to win, but should at least be a decent game. And on the other side of that bracket, if Cornell plays they did against Wiskey and Temple? Hell, the way they shot the ball against Wisconsin, they could have beaten about any team in the tourney. But the odds of them shooting 60+% again? Pretty slim. Just hoping for a good game.

The local (Syracuse, also same TV market as Ithaca/Cornell) weather guy was wearing an orange shirt with a red tie this morning. I've never thought such a puketastic color combo was so awesome before.
Woo go Big Red! Woo go Orange! Woo go WV!
Woo don't really care about Xavier/Kansas State!

I'm really trying to stay away from all the comparison/contrast that all the sports writers have been doing about the Red/Blue game, but FKNA they are two very different teams, it could be really interesting to watch. Or it could be boring as hell. I doubt it will fall anywhere in between.
Besides my own personal reasons for rooting for Cornell, how amazing would it be to see a team from the lowliest conference knock off the mighty Kentucky?

I'd love to see Cornell win (despite the fact that they demolished my beloved Badgers). Their O is actually a hell of a lot more dynamic than I expected... And I could see KY really trying to push the floor. I expect a fluid, high scoring game. Let's say... 90-78 KY. But close until 6-8 minutes left.*
* Meaning the game will likely end 42-38 Cornell, with KY going on a 30-0 run in the last four minutes to make it look a lot closer than it actually was.
