Middle Deschutes:
Water is still high and cold until irrigation draw-down start mid April. Streamer fishing has produced as well as pheasant tails trailing behind heavy brown stonefly. BWO "Baetis" have been on the water every time I'm out mixing with a little grey caddis, but the fish have not yet been looking up. March Browns "Rhithrogena" should be more active now that the weather is warming to mild spring temps. Fish crayfish bouncing along the bottom through deep slower water for hungry big fish looking for a meal.Last edited by yonskion; 03-15-2010 at 08:22 PM.

Driving through OR to Wy and was going to stop on the Owyhee. Heard anything? Im hoping the skwala's are in full swing.
