What a waste. Sorry, thats all i got.

This sucks. The squaw family has had it rough. I never met CR, but I must have watched his segment in Ski Movie 3 at least 50 times.
It's pretty amazing that he came back from that injury and didn't let fear drive the rest of his life. That's a strong fucking person.

One of my favorites growing up especially since we are the same age. At only 26 he had so much in front of him. At only 26 I feel like I already have seen way too many people taken away by this sport. It's days like these when I don't understand how there is a God. His family already had to endure so much and he fought back so hard. Such a great guy. This is really messing me up.
CR I'm glad you were doing what you loved and I wish your family peace and support in dealing with this.
Fuck.It ain't about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward - Rocky

Shock and disbelief, much sorrow for his family and the skiing community.
Jak and Jil skinned up the hill to rip some epic lines...
Jak cruised down throwing a huge mute 3...
Followed by Jil with a 9.

....damn. I first met CR on the day of his bad head injury...strapped to a gurney...I have followed his recovery from afar and have been so impressed he was able to fight back from a terrible injury.....RIP. Condolences to his family and friends. They are the ones who have supported his dreams and passion for skiing despite the dangers that are inherent to this sport...may you RIP CR.

Can't believe it. So so, sad. He inspired my foray into park/freeskiing after watching his segments in superpark and other early films. His battle with Candide back a few years ago in the X games pipe was truly jaw dropping. What an inspiration, and sincere prayers and thoughts to his family and loved ones...
I still call it The Jake.

Shitty.
Truly an exceptional kid, met him as a teenager and always was impressed he kept his humility and love for the purity of the sport. And against all odds.
Much love, respect, and praises.
