I don't know Adam personally, but I know enough about him to know that he is a stand-up guy and would not lie about PP. If he says it's uncooked, it's not.

Man that shot is sick. With a little more frame of reference that would be a cover shot no question.

For you yay-hoos that think this image is manipulated--you're clueless. You're clueless to, first and foremost, the fact that my photographic mantra is based entirely on representation. I represent the scene as it appeared. If I'm representing it on anything other than that, I say so.
Secondly, you're clueless to one of the greatest technical freebies of winter shooting. Snow acts as a natural reflector. I could have had an assistant standing under the athlete on this shot with a flash and it wouldn't have given me anything that wasn't already offered.
Ever spent an entire sunny day on snow and had your nostrils or chin sun burned? I wonder why. Get a clue next time before you try and call someone out in amateur hour.The Griz
