2/14: Need I remind you the season's not even half over...

Well, today marks the bird's 13th week of this year's 28 week season. Since Memorial Day falls on the 31st this year, we have at least 15 weeks of skiing left. Possibly up to 20 more weeks if we end up with another season like '95 and '05 when we skied until the 4th of July.

I've heard so many complaints about how bad the local season is, but here's a fun fact to know and tell: Snowbird didn't break 300 inches until February 9th last year and ended up with more than 600 inches for the season!

So, exactly one year later, to the week, where is 2010 for seasonal snowfall? 272 inches; or 2 feet less than last year at this time.

I'm certainly not imagining we'll have back-to-back 600" seasons, but, I am sayin there's a lot of season left.

    See you's out there.....

Thanks for helping to keep things in perspective.

Of course now if they don't get 600", I'll blame you.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Soon it will be long, warm, sunny days with cool nights and hard freezes. Travel will be fast and safe. Does that help?
