People break bindings, be they tele bindings or alpine bindings or whatever. Big people skiing hard break bindings at a greater rate than smaller people.

There are 8000 threads on TTips about NTN, on subjects that range from how they ski to whether they make your butt look big. Large and small people alike are posting oodles of experiences. If they had more issues with screws not holding then other bindings, it would have been screamed from the rooftops by all the haters (which includes a lot of people who have never skied them and some who skied for just 2 or 3 runs); heck they scream about things that aren't even issues with the system. The fact that this has not been one of the identified "problems" with NTN says to me that this isn't a general problem and is instead a problem with your mount job.

If I knew what the problem was, I would have never started this thread. After having problems on my Super 7s, I know the holes wallowed out and I was screwed at that point. But the whole point of a new post was that I am giving them another shot and hoping not to have any problems, but we will see.

An interesting note that came up yesterday is a buddy that skis the 01s on Super 7s is having some issues with the screws and he hasnt had any problems on other skis. So I am starting to wonder with how little metal is in that ski if it didnt need a 3.6 drill bit instead of the 4.1 that it said it needed. Just kind of a curious coincidence.

Quick edit to address Danno's post, we will see if there is a problem, cuz there was no issues with the mount job I did on my Big Dumps.

Yeah, but from what I can tell, 90% of the people on TTips are hopeless beaters, so you have to figure that in to your equation somehow.

edit: "oodles"? Get a grip, man.

So, I was in Sports Den today fondling some sticks and they have a set of '11/'12 Super 7's. Did a little hand flexing, then noticed the metal layer is above the base, not under the topsheet. Printed on the topsheet, the recommended drill bit was the 3.5. Don't know if construction was any different between years, but I would suspect the only diff was topsheet.
