The past two days were the best powder days that we have had in 5 years here in Arizona. Coverage is unbelievable and there are face shots to be had everywhere. Come on down and check it out, the back country is so good right now!

yeah winter is over. I just don't have any hope left for CO. Yeah sure a big storm or two will roll through of wet heavy snow. I will still ski but I am tired of waiting and think that winter park will top out this year with 200".

Tetons are up to 300" fallen with 60 days of lift service left and my Nino diminished hopes of 300-450" are about on pace. Got in 15 pow days over a foot deep and half were really epic days so.... I've seen it a hell of a lot lamer than this. Twice. For a Nino, it could be worse.

We got a bunch of pow yesterday, about 24" or so, over in the mountains of Western NC. Skiied last night in some knee/thigh deep wind drifted stuff. Probably the best day I remember in NC in 10 years or so.
And more coming this weekend. In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Our little hill is at 5,500 feet elevation in NC. So far, we are at about 80" of natural snowfall, with a base of 46"-84". And a month and a half to go. Usually get one or two big snowfalls in March.
