Way to go you BCC'ers! Thanks for the pics Lynx. Hey Tesckow, I hope you and Kristen are here for the season. I'll be out Thanksgiving - I hope the snow keeps up.

Best first day ever for me, and the second earliest. Lynx did a great job capturing it on film and I don't see much need for an extensive report, but...
After the extremely lazy summer T'cow and I had it felt so good to be gettin after it. We skinned up the cat track under the milli and evergreen lifts at brighton, then up the solbright trail. After a bit after an hour we reached the top of corner chute at solitude. Supergusting wind tried to blow us over while were gearing up, but it quickly faded and we were ready to ski.
So much snow, probably as much as everyone else talks about over at alta and more than the photos seem to show. Granted it was a little heavy by today, but once you got moving it was a sweet tThe rollovers on corner chute were tons of fun and this shortie was gettin it hip deep. Trudging out through the powder and pussywillows by the pond, we noticed the summit chair running. If I wasn't headed to work I would have begged or tried to bribe our way onto the lift.
We were out in the first blue skies of the week just before the next storm rolled in. Plotting our next adventure, hoping the snow keeps coming.
Go Cards! May the curse live on.

Great shooting. I wish Brighton would open today!
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.
