I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

Really cool - thanks for sharing. As a complete photo-JONG, would be interested to hear what you think is the most important aspect of a good shot (e.g., the lighting, the angle, the focus, the location, etc...). Obviously good shots have all of that, but what central thing is the most important consideratin for you when setting up shots?

This thread makes me want to buy more camera gear....I can't ride a bike like Alberto Contador, so the next best thing is to buy a bike like his

    Great shots

P.S. Somebody needs to tell Brant to get a helmet. He has injured every other body part, so his head is the last thing intact.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Welll...not so funny, but oh so very true. I'm sure I (Adam too I bet) could go thru an issue of Powder and tell you which photos were published for reasons of A. sponsor B. skier C. photographer D. editorial content and after that which ones were there for E. image quality. I would bet that after all the calculating was done, there are maybe five pages open for E. Also, I think location comes into play too, the mag isn't going to be all images from let's say Utah. So if there are 5 great photogs from Salt Lake, they're only going to run so many images from that location, so the odds go down again.

It's frustrating to have a magazine hold images, while you can't market those elsewhere until they make a decission, only to have them rejected in the end. But, that's the nature of the business and one has to decide what they're in it for. For a few it can be a good living, but for most it's the addiction of getting "that" image.

Thanks for sharing your work on here Adam, really strong images. I'm sure you should be able to re-package many of these to other places. Afterall whadya got to lose, they can only be rejected...again
