I think I speak for everyone here... and I think we all WANT TO BE LIKE KELLIE
Not only one, but seems like a thousand best experiences on that trip. Glad to see the snow stayed great through November in Chile, and that summit of Aconcagua just topped it off.
wow
I am officially not cool enough to hang with you anymore

We've won it. It's going to get better now. You can sort of tell these things.

AMac, you can depend on me for the feelings report as well . . . just took a bit longer than the ski part
Cliffhucker, as far as Vallecitos goes, I had to walk beyond Campo Salto de Agua at 14,000' to find snow . . . Rincon looked like it would go, but not via the Supercanaleta. Vallecitos was really the only thing skiable up there, with the possible exception of about 2/3 or Lomo Amarilas. I approached Aconcagua from Argentina, leaving the road from Punta de Vacas and hiking into Plaza Argentina.
HW, I think the IceAxe trip will be semi-annual . . . they're talking about a repeat in 2011 . . . it would be hard to fill it every year, but after how successful this year's ended up being, I bet there will be added interest in years to come!
Yeah, large quantities of happiness for sure . . . as much for the people as anything. I love international ski adventuring because the mountains draw you into such odd corners with awesome character . . . places you wouldn't otherwise goEverything in moderation, including moderation . . .

Missed this the first time around...
I skied with Anton at Arpa in August of that year, and he mentioned he was preparing for Aconcagua.
Read about the summit and pow descent in POWDER on-line.
Maggots, they are everywhere.
Chapeau, to you senorita Kellie!
As ELA said, Muy bien hecho!Aggressive in my own mind
