it is not fully designed yet, but:
190 = 149
200 = 159
roughly 6cm more tip, 4cm more tail
sorry for the typos on the website. being updated now!
+pure carbon skis: pre-preg aero space carbon carbon sheets. no fiberglass, top and bottom. poplar wood core. the point is that the carbon is purely carbon, and not a fiberglass composite.
+pmgear carbon: woven carbon/fiberglass material, edge to edge, tip to tail, top and bottom. ??? wood core (guess is ash/maple?)
+dps hybrid: woven fiberglass edge to edge w/ 2x 3" wide carbon stringers tip to tail, top and bottom. bamboo wood core (higher modulous/damper than most hard wood, while being lighter and more poppy).
splat, correct me if i am wrong... thanks!

Sounds more like they are distinct layers, some of carbon, some of fiberglass. But, I am so far from an expert it's almost funny....made in the US of FKNA. We're gonna show those Italian guys how it's done; two full layers each of carbon fiber and glass on an aspen/poplar core
Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
Does that mean that the 200 is on, Marsh?

That's pretty much it, Marshal. We do all our skis with a full edge to edge layer of pre-preg carbon and and a full layer of fiberglass above and below an aspen/poplar core. Ash and maple would be far too heavy to make our skis as light as they are. We let the dry desert air suck the moisture out of the cores for a month or two before using them to get max lightness.
What is a 2X3" carbon stringer, Marsh? 2X = top and bottom?
Glad to see Stephan putting it on top and bottom of the core, as top alone just won't do it like above and below.
I am interested in some pure 200cm flex 2's as my first choice.
My second choice is 190cm flex 3.
I sent DPS an email to that regard as on there site they are not listing the 190cm flex 3's.
I will pre-order and lay down a deposit regardless tomorrow before the deadline.
I have 202cm 138's flex 2 with dukes and 190 flex 3's with FT12's and I think the 112RP in 200cm flex 2 with sollys will kill for daily resort riding for smaller storms where the 138's would be overkill.

When is the deadline?
not counting days 2016-17
April 18th for custom colors.
June 7th for the per-order price.
If the email I was sent is still correct.

I finally caved in to temptation... trigger pulled on the pre-order!
Marsh, any update on how close we are on 200s? Mike suggested that interest was failing to materialize.

there are 5 confirmed pairs i believe at this point... need 25 pair minimum to begin making molds/etc
Marshal,
Can you enlighten me about the difference in feel between the pure+ss vs. the hybrid. About to pull the trigger on a pre-order of 112rp's, and I'm leaning towards the 112rp hybrids for an inbounds ski, but will order pure+ss if they are superior in feel. My favorite ski out of my quiver are my XXL's. Love the damp feel of metal for blowing through chop, that Cadillac ride. I had Pure 120's and loved them cat skiing and in the fresh, but felt like they were too lively and reactive in the cutup inbounds, they needed more dampness/metal for me. How do the old pure, pure+ss, and hybrid, compare for damp smooth snow feel with the gold standard XXL? What I want is the float/shape of the wailer rp with the smoothness of an xxl. This ski will be used 99% inbounds at Alyeska.

if you want the damp cadillac ride of a metal ski like the xxl, you want the hybrid. for sure. the hybrid is still more reactive and less dead than an xxl when going from edge to edge, but super smooth and stable when skiing on your bases, in the same vein as the xxl, squad, etc.
