Man, I have been swamped with work, but I am about to have copious amounts of free time. I just got a new motor for my scoot, so you will hear me roaring around the railyard, just keep the front door open.
Maybe beers at the new second street in a few weeks...

Skipper, if you're still looking for plans on Sat, like to join me for a tour in Williams Lake cirque? If snow is firm, I'd like to get to Vallecito. Thinking an early start. Likely to go same place Monday morning. PM me on NNMAE.

I guess I'm a decent NM maggot or person of interest.
TSV wasn't too bad this past weekend if you like carve-able hardpack and unconsolidated avalanche debris.
There is nothing wrong with northern New Mexico skiing that a major dump wouldn't cure!
Looking to carpool for trips to Silverton, Loveland, ABasin or wherever. Also beverages at the 2nd Street or Matador.
I'm the guy in the black ski pants.

Get up, go to work.

Welcome to the Threshold of the 11/12 Season, when two poorly understood climate phenomena duke it out.
La Nina versus the Arctic Oscillation: Battle Royale
To hedge my bets I got a pass for Silverton's unguided season and will be going up there as much as possible (staying at the hostel, it's cheap) and looking for rideshares.
Would there be any interest in longer term rentals up there? Might be cool to stay up there the first two weeks of April.
The last of my chiles are turning red and they are coming into before ht freeze tonight.

I didn't ski at all. I hung out on the deck all day Saturday trying to get Mark Ronchetti's autograph. That man is even sexier in person.
