I know it's from a crappy warren miller flick, but it was the first ski movie I ever watched and this last segment made me go woah that guy's sick. I'm sure there are much better clips out there but I still think this one is worth watching.

where were you in '92 ?
damn you dangerous ! thanks for posting that !
in '92 I was sitting in a cube wondering how I would get an office, and funding my weekend trips to Stowe, EVERY weekend. which led to ditching the office plans and moving to VT, then Colorado, then Tahoe. Can't remember reading that Achenbach piece but it's pretty much how I felt at 30.

Best ski/snowboard movie ever. If you haven't seen it, you should.
Really describes why we all do what we do
I'm sure there are plenty of beers and shots being toasted in Baker's Tap Room today.

The day CK died, I very vividly remember my buddy walking into the snowboard shop where I worked in Tahoe and telling me that Craig Kelly was dead. Then I read this article this morning in my office where I have a "real job" and manoman, that shit hit really close to home. Just remember, you work to live, you don't live to work.
God bless snowboarding and God bless Craig Kelley for showing us how.It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

Craig Kelly is the reason why I started sliding down hills in the snow. Greatest of all time. I'll dedicate a run to him tomorrow.

I am not a snowboarder but when I watch him on film he always seems so much smoother and more fluid and in command than everyone else.
