not sure how many of you have checked out the new flash pages from NOAA but here is a single current picture (because I have no idea on how to embed flash) of a far west pacific blob that I hope kicks the Northern Rockies ass.

nice, that blob looks large and in charge. I finally booked a trip to Jackson for early March so I'm starting to keep tabs on the pacific flow - these are nice maps.
