Well... There is a lot of great female singes put there.. But if it has to be a female rock singer, then it gets a lot harder....
I think that Sandra Nasic from Guano Apes is the best rock singer!

This extensive list would not be complete without including all of The Runaways. A bigger omission is Suzi Quatro, a Detroit rocker who made it bigger across the pond. I am not a rock historian but I believe her look and tough girl attitude influenced Ms Jett.
