    Poofall

Most of us know how cold it has been the last week or so here in Idaho / Montana / Wyoming. Cold. Damn cold. Along with that cold comes all kinds of problems. You find out how good your car battery is. How well your house is (or isn't) insulated. How much you are willing to endure in order to go ski/board.

Along the lines of Poocano, I give you Poofall. The sewer line in our office / warehouse froze this week. Then it broke. We normally have heat tape on it, but that won't work if someone unplugs it in order to plug in a boombox.

Freakin dumass. I need to find the culprit and rub his nose in it. I plugged the heat tape back in, only to set in motion a shit fall out of the ceiling. Nothing quite like a bunch of brown water dripping / flowing from above, and then freezing into brownish stalactites.

Today I spent a couple of hours replacing about 30 feet of line in one of the most uncomfortable situations I could imagine. Cramped, dark, dirty nasty crawlspace between upper and lower levels of this building. Shit. Everywhere.

Wow. My frozen kitchen pipe this morning looks pretty good now. Thanks for the perspective shift!

    I laughed.

Now that it is repaired, things are back to fairly normal.

Only -13 here early this morning. Both wood stoves going at home.

I hear Jackson is -31 this am. Yep, is wintertime for sure. Gotta love it.
