    Line Pandora Telemark

im 5'4" 130 lbs. and a girl-- is the pandora by line in a 172 too long to telemark? with the bombshell bindings? i want a powder specific set up. is there another ski 160-175cm length, 110-120mm underfoot that would work better?

A Moment Pika 170 might work well for your purposes- im assuming Pika + Bombshells might be comparable to the Moment Ruby w/ Hammerheads. which is a great all purpose powder set up.

Im your size and I have only skiied the Pika w/ alpine set up though...A+.

Depends on how good you are, huh?

But a second on the Pika. And if you're worried about length, my wife (your size exactly, but an alpine skier) demoed the 160 last season and fell in love. (A pair is hiding in the garage until her birthday.)

        A GIRL

The appropriate inappropriate answer is to ask for pics just to get a good idea as to your talents; however, since you are but a girl I will give you an answer that is significantly less creepy.

172 if you are a strong aggressive skier would not be an issue.

        What are your current skis?

"better" is a very subjective term, Tip rocker only?, tip and tail rocker? what other models have you looked at - at 175ish cm there are a bunch of skis that might fit the bill: Volkl Kiku, Prior Husume, Armada JJ, Moment Reagan, ON3P BillyGoat (if you can wait), Rossi S7 ...

        and try searching
I don't work and I don't save, desperate women pay my way.

          more info:
aggressive skier, these skis are for silverton mountain
my current skis are 165 dynastar womens exclusive legend powder with the bd 01s
--(they are now going to be my backcountry only ski because of the bindings and weight)
i've searched alot actually and i work between two gear stores (demo and backcountry)
i really dug the kikus last year
as far as rocker, id actually be interested in full rocker more than just early rise
          thanks for the suggestions
all the other skis i've looked at aren't womens specific but its starting to look like that may be a better avenue

People with coexist stickers are ALMOST as bad as tele skiers, although there is some overlap.

i can't think of a single reason why the pandora or pika wouldn't be the ski for you. the lengths are good, the width is good for pow, and both skis rip. pull the trigger and mount 'em up. you won't be sorry.

Sounds like the right length to complement the Dynastars. (My wife's other favorite ski these days, incidentally.)

                Rock on.

Just for pow? Look at the voile asylums or drifters. My ex has them and she's smaller/lighter than you and loves them, and she tele's.
