Technically Hytrel is described as...

I got my first Hytrel plastic boots two and a half years ago and haven't been able to switch back to the original Ghost. Even as boxes of Ghosts stacked up on my door step I couldn't take my Hytrel ghosts off my feet because regular plastic boots felt like dead garbage compared to the life and pop of the Hytrel boots. I'm so psyched they went to production with this material because I was worried I would never be able to get those boots again.

Otherwise, the 2010/2011 Ghost has a the Custom Shell lower cuff and a slightly different ramp angle. Same forward lean, just a slightly higher toe height.
I stand corrected - an already sick boot is now A LOT more sickter! Thanks for the info Alka - definitely going to get this boot!

The JJ and the ANT. Saw them last week. New graphics look cool but they will keep their names because those skiers designed the skis and though not skiing for Armada they continue to influence the company being founders.

    Legend Big Dump (192) 142-120-132 R=38 - Tiprocker
    Legend Rider 115 (166, 175, 184) 137-115-127 R=32 - Tiprocker

Looks like some people will be disapointed about the legend 115 topping out at a 184cm, I guess the big dump it the 194 replacement. Looks like the chopped 7mm from the waist tip and tail, and those are the dimensions of the Legend 115. I wonder how much the softened it? I would love that ski in the 184, if it had the xxl flex.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

I feel the same way I did that I heard they were killing the Explosiv...I need a backup pair of 187 XXL's.

I would say for the past 3-4 years, for sure, with a few exceptions such as the pollard's topsheets... which now looks ugly as others

I totally agree - rider 115 had better be stiff(hated the LP when they softened that ski - big mistake)! I wished the big dump was stiffer - exactly like a 1st gen xxl 194 would rock! Too bad about Dynastar dropping the 194 length in the Rider 115, I know they're simply trying to maximize production investment & sales revenues but surprised they did it.. wonder if there's a "team stock" big dump version that's stiffer...

Need some help on the Rocker definitions

Am I the only one who doesn't completely understand all these "Rocker" descriptions that are used for the new skis?

Anyone care to take a stab at giving us some clarification on each of the Rocker terms that were used in the ski descriptions?

Here's all the Rocker "language" that was thrown out there for the skis:

    Jib Rocker
    BC Rocker
    All-Terrain Rocker
    Resort Rocker
    Powder Rocker
    Heavy Rocker
    Medium Rocker
    Light Rocker
    Tip Rocker
    Early Rocker
    Early Rise Rocker

looks like the new dynafit TLT5 rando boots are ubercool. Basically, they're a chepaer version of the DyNA (for racers, on sale for 1000 euro), but almost as light and stiff as the DyNA

I don't think the Atomic Blog is coming back - maybe was replaces by the Access - I think around 100mm rocker? Bent Chetler looks skinnier - maybe 117mmish? Maybe to help fill the blog gap. Atlas' look straighter, sweet sidecut - almost B-Squad like.
