LESSER AMOUNTS ARE FORECAST FOR STEVENS AND SNOQUALMIE PASS WHERE 2 TO 6 INCHES ARE EXPECTED DUE TO INITIALLY WARMER TEMPERATURES FOR SNOQUALMIE AND SOME PRECIPITATION SHADOWING OF THE AREA NEAR STEVENS PASS. THE VOLCANOES MAY SEE LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS...WITH PARADISE AND MOUNT BAKER MORE LIKELY FALLING IN THE 8 TO 16 INCH RANGE.

ANOTHER ROUND OF PRECIPITATION WILL AFFECT THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. WITH SNOW LEVELS REMAINING NEAR OR BELOW 3000 FEET THROUGH THE WEEKEND...A MORE WIDESPREAD SNOW EVENT IS LIKELY. 10 TO 20 INCHES OF SNOW COULD FALL OVER THIS TIME PERIOD. SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF SATURDAY NIGHT.

this is standard opening day so the American masses book Thanksgiving trips... Will for sure open earlier if snow permits.

For this time of year, "yuk" is good. Cold rain and snow is much better than blower pow for a base. Oozes into all those nooks and crannies for a real solid base.

Yeh, you don't want a repeat of last year with cold light snow to start out. Need to stick it down good to begin with.
