WTB your old 1st gen Adrenalin shells

    Hi,

    This is a long shot...

I'm looking for a used pair of 1st generation Garmont Adrenalin shells in a 29 (bsl 328).

After fitting my well used Adrenalin's with Intuition liners, I noticed that the cuff has a small tear in it down toward the pivot on the inside.

This is a long shot I know, however I'm trying put off diving head first into Dynafit (which means new boots) for another season.

Check your numbers, my Adrenalins are 27 (bsl 306), either way they won't work for you.

    Bump.

Shells don't need to be 100% functional, just need the cuffs.

A picture of the problem might get you some ideas for a temporary/long term fix so you can enjoy the weekend snow.

Sure, I can post a picture.
1st choice would be to replace the cuff, not repair it though.

If you just need the cuff, does the size have to be the same? I have no idea, but I would think something similar in size, up or down one or two monde points might work?

If that is the case I have some 27's I was planning on putting up in gear swap. They are still good boots so I was looking at getting $100 w/o liners, or $150 with new dynafit TF liners.

Unfortunately the next shell size down will not work. Scottsman also had a pair in that size that I was all ready to move on until my boot fitter informed me that cuff wouldn't fit over the lower shell properly. Thank you for the thought.

Size 29 and 30 share the same shell size
Those appear to be my only choices.

    Thanks again,
    ACH

I have a pair of size 29 Adrenalins with intuition liners that I would sell for $150. Very light use. No alpine soles. PM if interested.
