Either on the line or a few mm back. These are powder skis. Usually in pow I have to lean back a bit to keeps the tips from diggng in, so I wouldn't mount them FORWARD of the line.

The only reason to mount forward of the line is if you plan on skiing backwards a lot.

I understand the pow-ski mount back argument but even on the mark the tails seem really short in proportion to the whole running length. Maybe it is an optical illusion created by their beauty.

I mounted mine on the line and could not be happier (except for the fact that they blew up on their fourth run ever). The tail is super short but that is the way they are designed. It's hard to describe but in pow they have a balance point that make you feel almost like you are doing a wheelie. Its takes a bit to get used to but once you master it they are the easiest skis ever for soft snow.

On the line. These skis are so massively fat that they do not need to be mounted back at all.

    On the line.
They are Völkl (ooo...ümlaüts) so the mounting point is in the rear end anyways.
