    Can the original poster clarify some things for me?

    1. Is it ok to hit a rock in February?
    2. Are water ramps considered legit?
    3. Is man made snow ok to ski on? What if just a little grass is poking through?

    Thanks for clarifying. Up to this point, I've been very confused.

    Yep, this wasn't any fun at all! I hate making turns in 4 inches of pow on a smooth base without rocks in September. I hated wake surfing the next day also.

    Today at Loveland i didn't hit any rocks....

    The only scars on my ski bases are leftover form the rocks I hit at A-Basin & Sheep Creek at the end of last season...
