Anybody hanging on to a pair of 130-140 skis? I missed the Shiro's on here. Want to find a ski that my 9yr old can ski in some soft stuff and jump.

    Thanks

Found a pair of Volkl Mantra's on EVO for $169 :-)

Looking for a cheap park ski for the girl - something around 160 long and 80 waist. With or without bindings. Either a large junior ski or a lighter adult. Doesn't need to be symmetric. Beat-up topsheets, edges, etc. OK as long as they're still skiable and there's still some camber left. Anyone holding?

I have an old pair of Rossi bandits. 165. They have some tail rise so could be ridden backwards.

I have a pair of Rossi Girl's Skis in 67cm. They're white/pink, but who says boys can't rock pink? They were purchased brand new at REI and used 4 days before my kid outgrew them. They're these ones...they include bindings.

I could probably get them to CO for something like $75 shipped? No worries if you wanna find something locally, shipping costs sort of kill the good deal. PM if interested.

Also have a pair of white Smith Gambler goggles, also brand new. Never used. Could throw those in the package for another $10.

Lange RXJ in 23.5. The tongue ripped out of one liner so duck taped in at the moment. Might be able to sew if industrious or find a replacement. Few bucks that goes to my daughters revolving ski account plus shipping. Or available in SF Bay Area/North Lake Tahoe.

Has anyone given these a try for a first ski for very young children? My son is 15mo and I thought this might be the best option to get him out playing in the snow this year. We started my daughter on 67cm skis with regular bindings and it worked out well but she was 23mo, quite a bit older. Wanted to see if there were any opinions to share before I actually bought them. Thanks!

Thanks- Exactly what I'm looking for were it not for the pink. We've done a lot of that to save money, but now he's starting to figure it out, and don't want to give him any reason not to be on the hill (If you had boot's I might figure out how to cover up those top sheets, but hoping to find the complete package if I star making compromises).

Those look way more modern than the pair I picked up on the boards maybe ten years ago.

They are fine for playing around the base or yard. They are really hard to ski due to the binding/boot. But I used to take my kid up the bunny lift with them, and ski down with him between my legs while keeping the skis just barely on the ground by pulling up on a harness. Not great for actual learning, but it gave him a love for gliding. These days, at 6, he is killing it and all over the mountain, so they didn’t hurt. Kid even keeps his hands out in front.

I'm looking to borrow a pair of 70cm skis with bindings for this season. I can trade a 80cm pair if you need them. Seattle area. Thanks!
