Am I crazy to put my kid on 90cm for his first skis? He will be 3 in January and is tall for his age (98cm tall).
I could grab some 80cm locally used if I need to but the 90cm are crazy cheap and new and have a but of tip rocker, that I think will help with learning.

Looking for a 2T snowsuit and perhaps a union suit or something similar for my daughter. I thought I saw mention of something like that a few posts back, but I've lost track of what is still out there.

I saw some itty bitty boots at the thrift store today. It was near impossible to find boots that small when my kids were that little.. Think they were labeled 17 mondo but looked smaller than that. Already passed all our kids gear on to another person who used to post here. Good to see you folks are keeping the torch lit for the next generations..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

My boy needs some boots with a 230ish BSL. I have some with a 221 BSL and also 240. Looks like my boy is in between. I think I actually have two pairs with that 240 BSL and would trade one of those pairs.

Likely going to need new skis and possibly boots for 11, 9 and 7 year olds.
All have been skiing sporadically since they were little, but never been in a formal program or any racing.
11 is solid with parallel turns on blues and starting to explore some blacks. Seems to enjoy the trees, which makes dad happy!! (EC)
9 is aggressive and athletic, progression happens quickly and I wouldn't be surprised if he passed 11 this year in terms of ability. He's already faster.
7 is 7. Fearless and loves it.
Hoping not to buy anything new / retail.
Whatta ya got??
edit: also have a bunch of smaller stuff to pass on free.. will get em out of the garage and post pics / stats.

Jay, I got nuthin, but it might be helpful if you gave some idea of the lengths you're looking for, or at least the heights of your children. And if considering boots, definitely what size feet they have.

Just hit the boot thread asking for sizing advice. Standard 1-2 finger shell fit?
For skis I honestly don't know. Hoping to learn.
They are obviously growing. 11 and 9 quicker than 7.
Currently 11 is 5'1", 9 is 4'4" and 7 is 3'11".
For intermediate non-racer kids is there an agreed upon size paramater (shoulder, chin, nose, eyebrows?)
Looking for something slightly wider and more progressive than the old K2 kids skis they have been on. One ski for each that will work on ice, soft, and potentially in the trees.
9 will likely want to jump and/or ski switch.. the others not so much.

Follow up on sizing, I bought my 46" tall 46lb 5yo some 105cms that were for sale cheap locally. Last year he was on 80cm holding my hands on the magic carpet, have lessons and a pass this year and hoping to have him ski more independently. Are these too big? Should I try and buy some 90-95s to have options?
