Old GM TH350 in the foreground. Not sure what the one in the background is but it's from an AWD vehicle. Maybe a Subaru?
This series of pics probably doesn't fit the rules of the contest since it's not one single picture but three that represent a transition. Taken 10/04/09

Thanks! If any of you have done this type of thing before, you'll realize it has more to do with luck than skill. Here's one more with the exposures a bit off, but I kind of like it anyway.

while not that special, i think its one of my better exposures
i had taken a bunch of cool night shots but the focus wasn't all that hot
