Nice!!! I counted 9 in that photo that I owned in the past. Those nasty pink and blue things in the middle were called Vertical Assaults weren't they? I had a pair mounted tele. They were awesome at the time as tele ski's mostly sucked back in the eighty's.

Sorry this pic sucks. Me - EC / travel skier, 5’7’’ 195ish, whites and greens

Few frame bindings to be found, whoops

179 Ramp Woodpecker, EC rock ski, really rough condition 2/10

181 4FRNT Switchblade, EC jib rock ski, horrible condition 1/10 I ruined the bases

184 Praxis Piste Jib, maple? Veneer, #3 enduro. EC daily driver, super fun ski, light, doesn’t flex all that stiff but feels damp and torsionally stiff.

185 Parlor Cardinal 100- someone else’s custom job that got returned to their factory. Full camber, stiff overall flex, end tail of a 2x4. Pretty great on firm/groomers, outstanding for 100 under foot. Amazing slush groomer / slush post-tracked ski- awesome edge hold, power and rebound. Not the dampest (no metal) but damp enough for me. I am going to experiment with de-tuning the tips (keep forgetting?) for more off piste use, right now they are a handful in untracked. Too bad I don’t have one of their other offered camber profiles- subtle flat/reverse camber or tip rocker- I think it would have 95% of its performance on piste and gain a lot off piste via being looser, but presumably just as powerful.

188 Praxis custom -10 Quixote, #4 flex heavy core from Aevergeuse. I have a weird, love/not love relationship with this ski- PM me for the deetz. May be traded for my old 184 Devs, + back

193 Praxis MVP stock layup, #4 flex, I think maple ash core. Rocker / taper sections detuned, kind of a slashy feel. Limited use, only handful of days so far. Super fun ski, what I would grab to ski most places out west as a daily. Impressive on firm. Bought ‘em here and beat on them since but they’re holding up super well, 7.5/10 condition.

194 4frnt Devastator - crud / wetter snow / big mountain slush, still fun. Still kinda playful and not all that demanding. Can be skied more loosely from center or driven from the shovels- sometimes mid turn and back again, it’s such a coherent design. Quite impressive on firm, predictable. Heavy as hell, Mojo 15s were a questionable choice.

186 4frnt EHPs, EC / tight conditions / lazy pow, getting really floppy, bad condition 2.5/10

193 4Frnt EHP - big mountain ski? Cheap, fast, fun. Chop thrasher destroyers

196 4frnt Renegades- powder when I want to ski fast.

Old 185 Praxis POWs - just picked these up here this summer. old, pretty beat up bases 5/10, maybe I should get them tuned, who cares. graphics totally faded but the rest of the ski is in remarkable 8.5/10 condition once the edges get a little work done. These will be great on the fairly numerous pow days we get on top of zero base. First reverse / reverse.

I forget if I already asked you this, but have you skied the 184 or 191 Metal Katanas?

I recall I skied a set of OG, possibly first-gen Katanas in 2008-2009ish. Something like this:

    https://www.evo.com/outlet/skis/volkl-katana-2008

Not useful, I know. If I did own a last gen w/ metal katana, it would be a 191 and mounted somewhere around +4 from recommended and I’d probably love it.

Those pow boards probably aren't faded, the graphics just were never very sharp even when new. I still have my camo pow boards. Keith seemed surprised a couple years ago when I told him I was still skiing a pair of them

…And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth…One by one, the Jong hordes and free Maggots of TGR fell to the power of The Arsenal…But there were some who resisted…

Never look directly at The Arsenal with the naked eye.
Alas, many cameras melted to bring us these photographs.
    Behold The Arsenal.

This satellite photo captures every ski of The Arsenal in one shot.
