Ha. Weird assessment on the Corvus. I like the ski and think it’s fully capable and versatile. I also don’t find it to be stiff but I am 200

Faction Eleven9 with Warden- Powder ski for big days
Sick day 104 soon to be with Shifts - (between bindings right now) New this year and bought for a spring that never sprung - really not sure if I like them at all, Hopefully, I'll like them when I find some Shifts in an end of season sale
Dynastar Mythic Vertical with Radical 2.0 FT- My Uphill Ski - but also quite a bit of fun on the down in the right spring conditions (surprisingly good mogul ski )

you don't have to agree with my opinion, IDGAF if you like the ski.
300-ish grams (15%) lighter than comparable skis in the field (OG cochise/katana.)
on stiffness, blister gave it a 10/10 underfoot tapering to 8/10 in the tail, clearly geared towards the "drive from the heels" design approach.
zero camber with long low rise tip & tail vs. full-reverse is essentially a semantic dispute.

Careful not to brand generalize. I had the Navis Freebirds and didn’t like them at all. The Atris were pretty decent but didn’t like them as much as my Moment Wildcat 108’s. But the Black Crows Nocta and Anima Freebirds are awesome skis. So are the Orbs. All of their skis are very different, unlike some brands that have a more consistent feel.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

Got bored today so decided to stare at my skis.
L to R:
200cm Dynastar Coupe X9- thrift store find, kind of scared to ski the plastic Markers on them.
184cm Cham 107- Got a good deal and I don't hate 'em.
189cm Wren 108- just mounted them finally. Hoping to maybe get on them this spring? Demo'd them a few times and really dig them.
186cm Bodacious- favorite ski ever. Need to pick up another pair once the COVID goes away.
188cm Wailer 105- Beat and swiss cheesed, but they make a good back up.
183cm Cham 2.0- Daily touring rig, may swap for something longer radius but they were a good deal when I bought em.

I picked up my first pair of 186 Bodacious on a whim a few years back, and didn’t really spend any time on them until this January.
Hory sheet.
What a ski.
I picked up a second pair as a spare, and then a pair of 193s as a more pow focused ski. These things rip.
I expected the Bodacious to be this burly animal to ski, but it was super easy to use as an every day ski, and even a travel ski(before COVID wrecked everything).

The season is over...
I'm bored at home, so I decided to take a picture of my handmade quiver
I’m a big fan of this topic
L to R
177-95 > ash/nomex honeycomb core, fiberglass, rubber tip
Last ski I made one month ago, just fews days testing 1600gr per ski w/o binding, Shift or Plum Oazo 8 depend of the program of the day.
186-100 > ash core, fiberglass / Titanal
I made this ski before the season, solid flex, but super playful at low speed due to tip and little tail rocker. But you can go fast …the ski cut on ice and shitty snow tip damped well and eat the terrain.
186-106 > ash with one strip of paulownia / fiberglass
Second season on this ski, perfect do it all ski for me,
not to stiff, light reverse camber ( flat when it's cold... ) playful, damped, good grip on edge, nice combo with the shift.
Recently cut the base and fiber for swallow tail, rubber inside the tail.
186-110 > ash with one strip of paulownia / fiberglass
7 years old of service and 5 years full time.
Reverse camber, medium flex, super playful and good on piste.
Love this skis but hurts knees and back with age...
Others skis :
4frnt Renegade 186 2012
4frnt Hoji 187 2013
Rossignol B squad 191 from team
K2 Ak Enemy 188 2002
and probably others stuff ...

The profile on that 110 looks so sick. Perfect curves, I bet it accelerates like crazy in fresh.

Yes, now my quiver is entire ... but a new 110 for next winter is plan few more millimeter in tip for I hope an even better acceleration, the old one is now too flexible ...
Yes I work for a small manufacturer but my skis are full custom (shape, flex, rocker/reverse)... advantage of the job.
Time ... good question, it's can be long if you want make well, homogeneous flex it's key for me and the longest stage.
Shape it's important but easier if you know the program of your ski.
When you have determinated all this parameters, big part of the job is done.
And you have to start to pressed at some point ... because you only know the result on snow.
send me PM if you have more question

Boots are a little quirky. I adjusted the toe as much as possible when I mounted them but the alignment is best on the Right foot.
