    Awesome quiver!
TBH, I really dont know. I believe it is a custom of the last gen of the 191 wren rocket. Not the babymakers, slightly less manly but still a mix between the vicik and a Tyrannosaurus Rex. They have barely any camber (height), and are some of the best fucking skis Ive ever stepped into. I sold my beloved 191 Billy Goats before I even considered getting rid of these. Think Katanas with camber. I think it was pressed late 2015. Maroon bases. 7 days on em' and they're fucken guns. Took me some time to figure out, but probably the best ski ive ever owned. As beefy as the Monster 108s are, id have to say these ski "straighter", without being nearly as heavy. 10/10.

Looking forward to the next gen big wren!

Awesome! Those are great skis. I miss how easy they are to ski all day. Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy with the Kastle Mx98s, but Bonafides are just so so so easy to enjoy. I stopped skiing the Kastles out of bounds because I just couldn't trust myself to make they do the right thing every time. I might get back into a pair of Bonafides next winter, or Cochise.

The Bones are to hardpack what Protests are to pow - they just make it so damn easy that I giggle like a little girl. Which goes well with my skiing haha.

I love the way the Shiros and Kastles charge, but you are exactly right about Bones and Protests. They are just playful and fun. I never had any issues about taking the the Protests or Bones anywhere. The big 203 Shiros are hard to drive in tight trees, I know they are 203s, but the 196 Protests were easy in trees. I'm still slightly afraid of the Kastles in anything not open...

I'm not a good enough skier to be sponsored (although that seems to matter less and less these days). No, just addicted. I've tried a lot of different brands and ON3P just seems to have this combination of feeling both extremely damp and yet still lively / playful like no other skis I've been on. And the durability is appreciated - the money I've saved by not getting core shots repaired and base grinds has at least paid for one extra pair by now.

I was only on them for about 2 hours, but my initial reaction is they might end up being my favorite skis ever. So a good first impression. ;-)

That's pretty much how I felt about my Wrens after 2 hours. After about 20 more hours on them, they indeed are my favorite.

How did you customize them, did you change the layup?

Stock layup, just custom top sheet. They're noticeably quicker to swing around and turn than the 112's. Just a bit more versatile but it seems to make a huge difference.

Bought a house last year. Also bought ~3 pairs of skis. Skis seem cheap compared to buying a house. Weird mental game.

But now that I bought a house...no buying skis this year. Too many fucking house projects.

But...recently tidied up the garage and put summer wax on skis (yeah I'm fucking lazy). So quiver pic inbound shortly....

Not as rad or thought out as most quivers on here. I'm more of an opportunistic buyer than anything -- something pops up cheap that I've demo'd or think I'll like and I get it. The most spent on any one setup is $350 shipped for the Yeti's w/ radicals. Lowest price is close between the $32 brand new HS junk park skis and the $50 Deathwishes.
