2022 quiver, from the horse stall.
Kore 105
Kore 99
Brahma 88
Enforcer Pro 110
BMX105HP
Kore 117
Bodacious
Cochise 106
Kore 99's are new so don't know about. I like the 105 and the 117 so I suspect they will be decent. The Cochise 106 were a late last season acquisition and never got to ski them in good snow. Looking forward to more days on those.
Not sure how I ended up with so many black skis.

Haven't done one of these in a while
Head slalom protos?: scariest ski of them all
Volkl moguls: cheap ski swap pickup
BD amperage: should be fun for low angle mid winter touring
185 soul rider: rock/park skis
180 j metal: favorite skis ever, daily driver
189 j hotshot: mid winter go fast skis
181 sakana: in the right conditions the most fun carving ski ever
179 w88: spring touring maybe? I might not need these anymore
181 k98: ride switch in the park
181 k108: ride switch to the parking lot
181 j122: ride switch into the parking lot because there better be snow
Been looking for an imaginary gap to fill, but haven't found anything to get excited about just yet

Agreed. They were $50 and I've always wanted to be a hotdogger so I had to give them a shot haha

Will do. They have two mounts so they aren't worth much, which is why I haven't considered selling yet

The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread
I was working with a guy who worked for Dynastar for years, got these, some brand new p15’s in the navy blue colorway(on the jj’s) and my girlfriends Rossi skis and bindings for like $400. It was a no brainer to buy. I have a set of the orange and white race room legends with 3-4 sets of holes still in the basement. They see one to two days a year when we’re just ripping groomers

In rotation this season...
Skis...
Left to Right:
- 183 Black Crows Corvus: These are new to me, not sure where they'll fit in; was intrigued by the shape and wanted to try them out. Kind of have these in mind for a travel ski or directional soft snow daily driver. Thanks for 54-46 for the hook-up.
- 187 LibTech UFO 105: "Dad" ski, old man park ski, daily firm snow ski. Slays slush bumps and does well on ice. Shortest turn radius out of everything I own.
- 187 Kartel 108: Non directional soft snow daily driver.
- 184 Wren Ti 102: Ski for spring skiing and crud bustin.
- 189 Wren 108: Big mountain go fast ski. Bachelor Summit day ski.
- 189 Billygoats: Pow and wet stuff.
Boards...
L-R:
- LibTech 157 Golden Orca: Daily driver.
- Lib 159 Goldmember: Big mountain.
- Lib 154 Orca: Pow.
- Gnu 158 Mullair: Loaner, early season board.
Touring Rigs...
L-R:
- 189 Blizzard Zero G 105: Winter touring ski.
- 184 Blizzard Zero G 95: Spring touring ski, longer missions.
- Jones Solution 158: Splitboard

Nice selection. One of those boards is not like the others however.

Curious what influences your decision to ski or ride each day. Seems like you are competent with both. How do you decide.?

 PDX skier friend of mine is probably going to take the mullair off my hands on his next visit, which will leave me with all lib techs. I sware I don't have a dude crush on TRicky at all.
It often comes down to who I'm riding with. I'm faster down the mountain on skis. I can trick a board where as I struggle to spin a three or do a rare backflip on skis. If I plan on being in any sort of terrain that involves a traverse or skate out, skis are a no brainer. On a ski trip it can be nice to mix it up with a board after several consecutive days of skiing big terrain; I feel like being on a board is slightly easier on the knees and doesn't work you as hard. Sometimes feel like boards excel over skis in the super funky maritime mank we get out here. More often than not, I just head up the hill with a variety of setups and see where the day takes me.Last edited by RYAN13; 11-13-2021 at 09:11 PM.

Huge purge since I’m not sure I’ll get to ski this winter…
180cm Head World Cup Rebel iSpeed Pro
Go fast on hard snow, if you want to work hard to get them to turn. They stay on groomers cause I’m too lazy to try to ski them in bumps.
188cm Blizzard Rustler 9
No new snow, want to just rip around and have fun. Broke the last pair, I ski these way too much for theoretically not being a ski I should like. They rip and do everything I ask them to do. Broke the last pair because I carved them too hard.
194 Kaestle MX 98
Light your hair on fire, spank your grandma and make super G turns everywhere (literally everywhere). One of those if you know you know skis. Absolutely shreds everything. Can ski up to 12in of pow IF your legs are strong enough. If they aren’t, see below.
194 Solomon Blank
Fun soft snow ski. Bit twitchy as Blister said. But fun in spring conditions. Jury out on pow performance, hopefully I can find out this winter. If I don’t like the Blank in pow, I’ll be kicking myself for selling the Sender Squads instead of these.
193 Kaestle BMX 115
Fat version of the MX 98. Great deep snow ski. Tails a bit stiff for inbounds right trees, but if they have a bit of room to run they are a blast. Really suck on hard snow, but maybe that’s because I took a file at a 45 to them. (I hate edges in pow.)
193 K2 Mindbender 116c
Pow touring ski, if I ski this winter these will become something 105-110mm wide. They are fine, nothing special. I’d tour on the BMX115s but touring boots can’t drive the 115. Maybe I’ll keep them just out of lazyness and get a new tech binding setup.
189 K2 Pon2oon
Shane got these right, favorite fat ski in existence and I’ve more then I should admit of the fat skis people tend to like. Surprisingly soft laterally so they are really gentle on the knees on long sidesteps out of dark and shady places

Most of my quiver (just missing my T-bar coaching skis and a new pair of the retail G9s for faking GS turns when the commitment level of the FIS skis is a bit much), in no particular order.
Four pairs of tele skis (Volkl GS, Madshus Annum fishscale, Rossi T3 and K2 Anti-Piste), none of which have seen much recent use
Ancient and old DH boards that I really want to try ripping around on this winter, but I'll need a day without a crowd
Retired rental skis for really stupid stuff
Kastle shot ski
One pair of Lhasas that I can't seem to bring myself to sell
Old and current GS skis
Retail and race slalom skis
And Bent Chets, including some that I haven't gotten around to mounting yet.
