Modest quiver of red (unintentional color matching) - 2 are flat because I just bought them end-of-season. Gonna throw pivots on 'em.

    Armada ARV 86 - 177 cm
Black Crows Camox - 181 cm
    Nordica Enforcer 110 - 185 cm

    I love overlap(and pivots)

    Left to right:

188 Moment PB&J - I skied this a lot this year since we had a long dry spell. Has a fun shape, but is really stiff and keeps up.

190 Moment Wildcat 108 - Might be my new favorite ski, I have 4 days on it so far and it’s awesome.

    189 ON3P Wrenegade 108 - Most versatile ski I have.

192 - Blizzard Cochise - Strong, great spankys ski when the sun is out and you just want to go fast

189 ON3P Wrenegade 114 - I have no justification for owning these, they are just easy to ski rockets that I didnt get to ski much in their intended environment this season.

189 ON3P BG - Main pow ski, you all know the drill. It’s the mayor of TGR skis for a reason.

191 Praxis/PM gear Lhasa Pow Fat - Heavy core 4/5 flex. Didn’t want to miss out on the chance to try a classic design. Glad I didnt. They fit somewhere between the BG and W114.

190 Moment Bibby Pro - Playful charger for when I want to do more tricks, hit kickers, etc. They are still kicking after 5 seasons of abuse.

There’s more old ON3Ps in the crawlspace, but I consider them mostly retired.

Skis I got to ski this year that I liked:
    192 Rustler 11
    188 Rustler 10
    189 Backland 109
    19/20 188 QST 106
    186 K2 Mindbender 116c
    187 Blizzard Bonafide
    188 Prior Husume

Skis I got on that I did not enjoy:
194 Black crows anima (it has so much tip taper, it doesnt track in chop at all, so dissapointed )
    189 Head kore 105
    184 Volkl m5 mantra
    192 rossi black ops 98
186 K2 mindbender 108(I blame the snow on these, just felt unbelievable torsionally stiff)
    192 Praxis Protest
    18/19 188 QST 106

Overlap, I don’t see any overlap...

Nice well thought out quiver. Someday I’ll find a pair of BGs to take for a spin.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but would love to hear a comparison of these two. My SG’s have helped me avoid wanting a pair of Wren 114’s, so almost afraid to ask and tempt fate...

    They feel pretty different,
    Wren 114 feels like a wide wren108(duh).
It is a lot better on firm snow than the BG, feels more traditional and welcomes a forward stance and is better for arcing large turns in fresh snow.
It charges hard like the old wrens, but is really easy to ski.
Doesn’t have the same loose feeling like the BG does in fresh, so not as easy in trees, but it still pivots quite easily with some input. It’s a lot more fun when you can see than when you can’t.
    Hope that helped.

    The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread

I want to hear some Wren 108 vs metal version. Interesting to hear that the metal is lighter.

Edit : oops thought this was the on3p thread.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

All these skis tend to ski more or less "short". Especially the S3s.

I guess we both share the same opinion and yes - I borrow a set with Vipecs every once in a while when I need a lighter setup. My favourite combo here is Wren 98 with Shift but it can get heavier after skinning 2-3K vertical feet.

Yes, I have three skis that are 108 underfoot... one of them will not make it long.

I don’t see an issue with 3 skis all 108mm underfoot. Different skis for different skiing

How do you like the Noctas?

The Wrens are staying for sure. The Atris and Wildcats are too similar. After a couple laps on the Wildcats this morning I’m pretty sure they won the battle.

Love the Noctas. A lot. Favorite skis I’ve ever owned.
