I got my exercise for the day, running skis up and down stairs.

If I have recorded them, specs are given in parentheses for each ski, like this:
(straight pull [cm], left ski mass [g], right ski mass[g], tip-waist-tail stated spec [mm], turning radius [m], general rocker/camber profile)
Not all the fields are filled for every ski, but you’ll figure it out, based on the units.

So, from left to right, in 10000 characters or less...

Elan MBX 16 (207cm) - The first pair of skis I chose myself and paid for myself, as a kid. I skied on these until 2016. To be fair I only skied maybe 20 days between 1993 and 2016. Probably going to put the bindings back together, mount them up again and take them out for some flannel and cutoffs days this year.

2014 DPS Lotus 138 Hybrid, R3.2 (192cm) - Can’t wait to play on these this winter. I plan to ski them more than I ought to. Because they’re the Hybrid, they’re just a skitch above the weight my knees will happily bear, so I mounted some 300g bindings on them. I hope it helps.
    (190.0cm, 2526g, 2608g, 140-138-139, NaN, full-rocker)

2016 DPS Lotus 120 Spoon (189cm) - After I get a feel for them I’ll decide whether to tour on them, ditch the Billy Goats as an inbounds option, or pass them along to the collective.
    (188.5cm, 2127g, 2123g, 140-122-126, 32m, rocker-camber)

2014 Blizzard Cochise (185cm) - Bought these new a few years ago, to have as a spare set for my 2012 Cochises. I miss the green bull topsheets, but not enough to pay more than I sold mine for, which was not very much. These are ugly, but I love how they ski in all conditions.
    (183.0cm, 2339g, 135-108-123, 28.5m, full rocker)

2018 Faction Candide Thovex 3.0 (192cm) - Definitely an impulse buy, but the price was right. I like the feel of them, flex, balance, etc., and they feel like just the right weight for a 50/50 (tour/downhill) ski to mount the Atomic SHIFTs on, so I’ll probably do that in the next couple of weeks.
    (189.5cm, 2115g, 2066g, 136-108-132, 24m, rocker-flat(ish)-rocker)

2019 Lithic Arlo 120 (191cm) - Thanks to Riff, for making these gorgeous sticks available. I really intended to save Lithic for next year, but then I caved, as I tend to do. After getting a hold of these and getting a feel for the curb weight, layup, and profile, I’m considering making them my daily driver.
    (188.7cm, 2200g, 2214g, 131-120-125, 27m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2012 Head Motörhead Boneshaker (191cm) - a.k.a. The Carlos. Tuco made me do it. It looks like the bindings were mounted, boots were clicked in one time, a pole was used to release the boots, and then they were never touched again.
    (189.0cm, 2628g, 2608g, 146-125-135, 32.3m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2020 Moment Chipotle Banana (193cm) - The people at Moment have been so cool in every interaction I’ve had with them, I decided that if I were only to make one full priced ski purchase this year it would be with them. Enter the Chipotle Bananabeast… Bindings arrive this week. Daily driver candidate, for sure!
    (190.5cm, 2300g, 2310g, 139-122-134, 35.5m, full rocker)

2018 Moment Deathwish (190cm) - One of last year’s end of season purchases. I’ve used them only as a spring/summer glacier ripper. Definitely still getting a feel for them, but I like them so far.
    (188.0cm, 2120g, 2116g, 138-112-129, 27m, triple camber)

2017 Moment Bibby Pro (190cm) - Haven’t gotten a chance to ski these yet, but I think this year’s the year.
    (188.0cm, 2318g, 2428g, 143-118-133, 27m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2013 Moment Bibby Pro (184cm) - I’ve skied the shit out of these, and for a while I didn’t think I’d ever ski anything else.
    (182.0cm, 2140g, 141-116-131, 25m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2014 Moment Governor 196cm - not pictured, but I wish they were, because they are fawking hawt.
    (2300g, 142-116-128, 26m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2019 Black Crows Corvus (188.2cm) - Purchased as a potential Cochise replacement. I pined over them for a hole damned year before grabbing a pair. Still trying to decide whether to stick a drill in them or pass them along. Time will tell.
    (187.5cm, 2250g, 2136g, 137-107-126, 21m, full-rocker)

2019 4FRNT Hoji (187) - All around touring rig. I had a weight weenie setup for the rare long haul tours, and these were gonna be my all-the-other-times pair. I’m never gonna do any long haul tours, and these are pretty awesome to tour with, so I got rid of the weight weenie setup. They’re fun at most speeds, good in most snow, terrifying on ice. Keepers, though. I am digging them.
    (186.0cm, 2005g, 2027g, 130-112-121, 30m, full rocker)

2017 Praxis Rx (189cm) - maple/ash “Heavy Hitter” core, 5 flex, nylon ”Alpenglow” topsheet. Great all around all mountain ski. I mostly bring it out when conditions are going to require more technical skiing and no new snow.
    (187.0cm, 2448g, 2462g, 141-116-128, 32m, rocker-camber)

2019 Praxis Protest (192cm) - maple/ash/paulownia “Enduro” core, 4 flex, nylon “Star Streaks” topsheet. They’re pretty, and that’s why I bought them. At the time I told myself that the 196 was kicking my ass, so these would probably not kick my ass as much, so I should just get them.
    (191.0cm, 2488g, 2438g, 139-128-132, 31m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2016 Praxis Protest (196cm) - maple/ash/paulownia “Enduro” core, 4 flex, nylon “Stained Glass Trees” topsheet. Sort of a mid/late season grab last year. I spent two really good days on them after a week of consecutive days of Billy Goat abuse. I started out tired and ended up tired, but they were fast and fun.
    (194.0cm, 2351g, 2355g, 139-128-132, 32m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2019 PM Gear/Praxis Lhasa FAT (191cm) - maple/ash/aspen “Enduro” core, 4/5 flex, Curly Tineo veneer PM Gear (is there a title for this graphic?) topsheet. I had to get in and support this collaboration. Somehow I’ve only gotten one day on them in fresh snow, and the rest of the days have been crusty and dangerous. I spent the soft snow day doing laps on Gods Wall at Mt Hood Meadows, and they were fucking great for that steep powder. With their truly heroic turn radius, they're so stable on hoary steeps and hardpack that I started reflexively grabbing them any time the conditions went stale last year.
    (191.0cm, 2240g, 145-117-125, 34-41-34 meter “bi-radius”, rocker-camber-rocker)

2012 PM Gear Hybrid Bro (192cm) - Tried to resist. Tried to peer pressure other people into grabbing these. The construction of these and the kusalas are my absolute favorite to behold. The carbon weave is mesmerizing. Can’t wait to experience how they go.
    (193.5cm, 2243g, 2212g, 143-115-132, 35m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2008 PM Gear Bro 188 (188cm) - These once belonged to dantheman. He skied on them like this: (http://vimeo.com/3263786?pg=embed&sec=3263786). Not me, though. I am no dantheman.
    (187.5, 2128g, 2106g, 126-100-115, 34m, camber)

2012 PM Gear Khusala Pow (186cm) - So-oh much fun. Super maneuverable fatski. I skied them on a few really nice powdery nights last year and they just rail. Quick to turn, way more stable in the crud than I’d expected them to be. I’d like to get them out more this year.
    (185.0cm, 2218g, 2166g, 133.2-124-129.4, 30m, full rocker)

2019 ON3P Kartel 108 (191cm) - End of season purchase. Skied 5 days on them, had a great time. Spent a lot more time in the air and facing the wrong direction than I normally do. They were a hell of a good time as a spring and summer ski. Till I broke one.
    (191.5cm, 2266g, 2280g, 137-108-130, 22.9m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2017 ON3P Billy Goat (189cm) - Best PNW ski I’ve been on to date, for all of the reasons you can read about in the dozens upon dozens of Billy Goat threads.
    (189.0cm, 2480g, 2456g, 143-116-126, 29.4m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2018 ON3P Kartel 116 (186cm) - Second ON3P I got ahold of, and like the first, I’ve never skied on them. I’ve put them up for sale a couple of times here, or maybe a few, but to date both I and the people who’ve offered to buy them are really attached to our $50 differences of opinion. Which totally cracks me up. So this year, goddamnit, I will ski them. And hence forth they will be loaners.
    (186.5cm, 2240g, 2210g, 143-116-135, 24.9m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2013 Volkl Katana (184cm) - Year of the Dragon was hard to pass up. Another possible Cochise replacement. I have anxiety about whether I should poke more holes in these or trade them in for the 191s, but I think the reality is that my knees would hate me for it. Not getting any younger…
    (182.0cm, 2272g, 2264g, 141-112-131, 25.2m, full rocker)

2016 Kastle MX98 (194cm) - See, I don’t need the big dick Katanas, because I can destroy my knees (and self) with these beasts. Skibrd planted a seed that sprouted in my brain and grew relentlessly until I could find a pair of these to quell the pressure. These and the Bro 188s are gonna be my low tide skis. I’ll send photos later from the traction device.
    (192.0cm, 2365g, 132-98-117, 30m, camber)

Rossignol S6 Caia Koopman (174cm) - I needed to get my hip wiggle back after the 20-year hiatus, and these shorties appeared on Craigslist with demo clamps. They are crud destructors, and that was what I wanted to be doing, so I grabbed them. Now they’re loaners. I spent three years looking for a longer version. For whatever it’s worth, I just learned that Candide Thovex helped design this ski.
    (136-106-129, 19.4m, rocker-camber-rocker)

2011 Rossignol S6 Jib (186cm) - a.k.a. the Sickle. These were renamed after their first year of production. Luckily for me they were posted on eBay as the Jib and not the Sickle, or someone else would surely have grabbed them. The Sickle is everything the Caia Koopman is, but is reverse camber. It’s a good times happy fun ski.
    (181.5cm, 2250g, 2270g, 140-110-133, 21.3m, full rocker)

Very very impressive!! I believe a new standard has been set for a quiver pic, and not just by size, but my info relayed!

I love the addition of the 194 MX98s. I really hope you love them as much as I do, and if for some reason you don’t, drop me a PM. There are a few tricks to getting them to do what you want, like detune the shit out of the tips and tails. Actually that’s my only big trick, oh there are a few others...

I’m really curious to see what you think about the 192 Candide 3.0s. I picked up a pair of the 204cm 3.0s as inbounds daily drivers, and am wondering if I should get the 192s instead. I really do like the suspension of big long skis, but 204cm is still 204cm. Im also considering getting the 192s in addition to my 204s, and Mount Kingpins on the 192s.

If the Black Crows Corvus don’t fit the bill and get sold, have you considered either the Moment Commander 108 or the K2 Mindbender 108 TI in that daily driverish spot? Or are the Kartel 108s that ski for you?

    Again, very nice Lucknau!

Cool. Yeah, I'll report back on the CT3.0s. I think they're gonna be pretty fun. One of my nephews has been skiing the previous model for a few years, and he loves them. My son skied the 2.0 Jr.s last year, and just rips up the every thing I put in front of him.

The Commander 108s, actually all three Commanders, are high on my wish list. I've definitely had the thought that the Commander 108 could be The One Ski for me. I would have a pair already, if Moment hadn't gone and made those big fat banana pepper skis.

Been thinking about the Mindbender a lot for the past month, too. It seems to keep appearing wherever I look. I don't know K2 all that well anymore, but it looks like a really great, and much needed addition to their fleet.

The Kartel 108s are super playful, and are my tooling around, being an idiot with my kids ski. I do a lot of that, so they'll see quite a few days every year. It'd be rare for me to grab them though, if the kids aren't around.

I really think 108 underfoot is the shit. The skis I've skied in that width range have never failed to satisfy in any depth of maritime powder, or any other conditions.

Mt Hood has been so good at delivering good snow that I'm sizing up, or out, hoping to spend more time on fatter skis this year. I want to see how feasible it is to make a big reverse camber ski be my daily driver.

    Nice quiver!

Conceirning the MX98, IMO there's no need to detune them. They're perfect as they are, not grabby.

You should try them before detuning.

    Damn fine quiver brother!
Those 192 Protests, Love that graphic!
Really, really curious of what you think of Boneshakers. Absolutely love, love, love, those fucking skis. Hardly used and I bet you secured them super cheap too!
I'm glad you ended up w/ 192 Big Bros. Mine need a slight detune, but those skis rip dude. Yours are better looking than mine too.

On a Moment note. There are actually 4 skis in the Commander line. The 124 looks like a serious candidate to replace my beloved Boneshakers. But I, like you, have chosen to go with the Banana 1st.

    Impressive, to say the least.

I am also positively surprised by the weight of those katanas. Thought they'd be a lot heavier.

Oh shit, I forgot! I guess I'm fixated enough on the 98, 108, and 124 to have forgotten the 118.

I'll make a point to report back on the Boneshaker. The 191cm Motörhead Inferno 104 was the first ski I had after rocking my straight skis for a couple of months in 2016. I miss the flaming bases. I haven't seen another pair appear since shipping them off to eastern Canadia. Wish I'd held onto them now, but just wasn't ready for them at the time.

Heh. Yeah. Believe me, I don't have any illusions about that. The grey shape behind the tricycle under the table on the left are the I-beams for a ski press. It's only going to get more absurd up in here.

Yeah, I'm kind of an obsessive hobbyist. Before this, it was dual sport motorcycles. Before that it was Tesla coils (which lead to the power engineering degree). Tesla coils are stupidly dangerous, btw, and not a recommended hobby. Most of the people I know who make them are fucking scary. Before that it was automechanics, kiln and blast furnace construction, glass and metal casting, ceramics, welding, etc. etc. always involving some combination of fire, molten materials, dangerous chemicals, high speed moving parts.

I got back into skiing because I wanted my kids to have the experiences I had when I was their ages, and in addition to the return of the skiing obsession, quickly became interested in construction. I'm in the information gathering phase at the moment. When I start making my own I might keep a few of the more sentimental ones, but I'll purge the rest.

The ski press in the back comment now makes sense.

Disposable income is disposable for a reason, have fun, blow it all. I know I’ll be in line for a few pairs when you start building your own and want to pass some on. Hell, I’ll probably be first in line for a pair you build!

    yeah - I absolutely LOVE Lucknau's quiver.

For one - his/your selection of skis is who's who of awesome skis. Bravo!

Secondly, my somewhat bloated quiver suddenly seems a lot more sensible by comparison. Huzzah

Thanks for sharing Lucknau - pure awesomeness!

Hard to post this simple 5 ski quiver after Lucknau’s bloated quiver of authentic awesomeness.

Also showed his quiver to my wife. Thanks for giving her perspective.... “it could be worse”....5 pair is like nothing.

    Currently:
    ————-
    4FRNT MSP 99
    J Ski the Metal
    Icelantic Nomad 105
    LibTech Wreckreate 110
    Icelantic Nomad 125

Boots: Dalbello Krypton 130 and old Sean Petit version Lupo 120s (no pins)

    Future:
    ———
Thinking will sell MSP 99 as the J Ski Metal will suffice.

Also maybe sell the Nomad 105/Duke. Need to then add a wide sidecountry touring ski with Shifts? Will get some new Lupos with pins.

Ya I’m a Baker guy. Have owned a few NAS Pows and NAS Freerides in the past. Looking forward to getting back on Libs.

WTF? Was this a 6-year 20,000-person conspiracy to make sure I never heard there exists a 2600g Lotus138?

I woulda bought that years ago! Who can I blame for this? (couldn't possibly be my own fault, hahaha)
