East Bear, how do you like the 186 Bodacious compared to your "bigger" skis? The 186 size is still plenty stable? I always wanted that ski, but was afraid the 184.5cm true length would feel a little short. A bunch of people have said otherwise, I'm just still tallying up new opinions on it

At my size and weight (5'8 and 175lbs) stability is not an issue on these 186 Bodacious. At all. They're awesome in open terrain. They're my favs in big bumps of cut up snow, typically inbound from 10am after a good storm.

For a big guy and/or real hard charger 196 is probably better to get the juice of them, but 186 is enough for mere mortals IMO

Thanks. Just got the René, craving to test them.
Honestly, this quiver is too big, I need to reduce it. MX98 are sold, Monster 108 184 are for sale, I should sell at least 3 more. Hope next winter will help me to choose.

They're a bit the same kind of skis, but DP Pro+ are even faster (than every freeride ski in fact), and way less forgiving. In 4 words, a lot more dangerous!!! And a lot more fragile.

Sorry, MX98 are sold already, and I don't know yet if I keep the DP Pro+. Winter will tell.

The 196 is HUGE, I would be fine on the 186 if I was looking for a new crud destroyer.

A shame you didn't list the mx here, I'd love a second pair. In France do you use mostly leboncoin, ski pass, FB groups?

If you ever want to get rid of the pro+ let me know or post in the euros thread and I'll come to cham to get them.

Mostly Skipass then leboncoin. Noted for the pro+, but your third on the list.

Did a little inventory trip to upstairs storage. Lot's of good stuff, too little time to go lift skiing. Salomon QST98 189 & Dynafit tlt superlite 2.0 12 in transit for my next season touring setup.

Really curious to hear your thoughts on Pindung! Especially since I see you have Shifts as well

I wish I got to try those Head A-Stars. They were like $220 at one point in the past, seemed like a badass ski.
