I would be happy with 1/4 of your quiver.
I would even let you choose what 1/4 you gave me!
    Damn.

Current quiver. Still considering adding something in the 10x underfoot range for firmer days, but not sure what. Would want something with a somewhat progressive mount while still having a longer turn radius.

187 Hojis with dynafit speed 12 - do it all touring rig. Super predictable in a wide variety of snow condition, which is what I'm looking for in a touring ski.

187 veneer GPOs - current DD. So versatile, so fun. Hold their own on firmer days, eat leftover pow and crud for breakfast. Carve, slarve, whatever. Have considered an older, heavier hoji as an inbounds DD, but decided I want a little bit of camber in this quiver slot, hence the GPO.

186 Renegades - pow ski. Love hojis shapes. Not much to say about these skis that hasn't already been said. Ski pow fast, slarve and have fun.

    Thanks dood!

The Mfree 108s are a solid ski. They float really well for their waist width and they hold an edge like a Dynastar.

Coming to this thread always squashes any concerns I have about owning too many skis. Here’s what I’ve got these days (left to right):

184 K2 Poachers (just pulled bindings off) - park/rock skis but was using them as a daily ski for a little while and they hold their own pretty well

188 Wailer 105 w/ plum guides - pretty old and losing their camber but I use them for most tours

186 ON3P extra stiff Vicik w/ FKS 185 - all gas no brakes (before they added tail rocker to these so it’s like skiing on train tracks)

188 Moment PB&J w/ FKS 150 - just got these but will plan to use as an everyday ski as something more playful than the viciks

190 Bibbys quiverkilled for FKS 180 and Dynafit Radical - favorite skis ever. Used on deeper days inbounds and in the backcountry

    Alpine:
172 Fischer Ranger 90 (now a rock ski/early/late season conditions)
177 Volkl Ninety Eight (2nd DD ski for when there's no new snow and i need some grip)
    180 Fischer Ranger 98 (1st DD ski)
176 Blizzard Bodacious 118 (powder day skis)
184 Atomic Bent Chetlers 120 (powder day skis, cat/heli skiing)

    Touring:
178 Extrem Opinion Carbon 108 (had to buy this ski in chamonix to replace a broken pair of DPS two seasons ago)
178 DPS Wailier 112 (main touring ski)
176 Volkl BMT 122 (used early in my touring days for flotation help)

188 Praxis FRS – resort pow. Basically a surfier Bibby. Still waiting for a legit pow-day, just a couple days with a few inches so far.

190 Moment Deathwish. Rock ski. Early season. Does it all pretty well.

191 Volkl Mantra 102. Hardpack. Going WAY too fast! I would have been happier with the 184 I think. The 191 is manageable but think the 184 would have been sufficient.

188 Moment PB&J. Hardpack, fun with the fam, poppers. Got the M102 to replace these, but think I’ll be keeping them after all. Just got some P15s to mount them back up.

184 Salomon X-Drive 80. Groomers…and firm chutes! These things are surprisingly fun, as long as you aren’t looking to pop or catch air.

188 Blizzard Rustler 11 with SHIFTs. Travel, do-it-all. Awesome ski. So versatile. SHIFTs are…okay.

187 Praxis Protest with Kingpins. Pow-touring. My favorite touring ski ever. Every run on these is soooo fun.

189 Atomic Backland 107 with Tectons. Just sold these. Good set-up but too much overlap with…

190 Moment Wildcat Tour 108 with Voyager 14s. Excellent daily-driver touring set-up. Does it all well.

183 Black Diamond Helio Carbon 95 with Alpinists. For big, long days. Volcanoes. Multi-day. Etc.

190 Moment Bibbys with 916s. Favorite skis ever. Pretty much retired. Probably will go on the wall soon.

    Sick quiver meter-man.

That FRS looks lovely, how does the length feel? Shorter compared to the 190 bibby?

Thanks, bud. Wish I had one pair and got twice as many days! Maybe 1 alpine and 1 touring...anyway...

I don't have enough days on the FRS in actual pow to do a real review. They are not as good as the Bibbys on firm snow, surfier in shallow pow. Haven't had them in chop or deep pow yet.

Here's what I wrote on the Praxis thread. Will update when I get more pow days. Been a rough start to the season here in California. https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...87#post6184187

    The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread

Here’s our rack this year. After years of acquiring and continual ratcheting I’m holding the fewest pairs in awhile. Was drawn to 3 shapes and essentially own different widths of those designs. Then add the Cassiar A95 ‘s versatility and I’m set.

    The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread

Looks like no Mt Baker, WA or Powder Highway trips this year due to Covid travel restrictions.

Pivoted the quiver for a mostly inbounds season at Whistler/Blackcomb.

~25 days so far and realized I needed more variable snow skis. Sold my QST 106s (E104s won) and Faction Candide 5.0 (Protos wins).

    Current Quiver (skier 5’7”, 165lbs)
    —————————————————-

179cm Nordica Enforcer Free 104 - such a good daily driver, a mix of charginess, slarviness, versatility and dampness.

177cm Volkl Mantra M102 - for inbounds raging, on low tide days, in variable snow, apparently these have no speed limit on groomers.

180cm Blizzard Rustler 11 - a really really good ski that does everything easily and well in all conditions.

180cm Dynastar Menace Proto - for ripping inbounds pow, chargy yet so turny, super fun.

184cm Atomic Bentchetler 120 - for sidecountry pow, light and easy and surfy, also super fun, but not getting much use due to the Protos. Think may try to sell these.

    The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread

It’s been a long time since I’ve taken a pic of the quiver:

Line Chronic 185 - mess around with kids on groomers skis, old man park days
ON3P Jeffrey 108 186 - when I am feeling loosey goosey and wanting to take it easy, slarve around and do 180s to impress my daughter
ON3P Woodsman 108 187 - quickly turning into my daily driver, just kind of does everything
ON3P Wren 108 Ti 184 - hate fuck the mountain and scare small children, wide open above treeline days
ON3P Cease & Desist 184 - when we are blessed with more than 8-10" of snow, any consistency, and want to just surf everything and pop off pillows

Waiting on some new Billygoat tours to round it out.
