Locations just on opposite sides of VT but my hoarding tendencies have led me to build a quiver at each spot. The skis move around a bit by circumstance but the above is my general thinking on how each ski’s ownership is justifiable. Basically ~five skis at each location with no duplication in the deep pow Tele slot. Also, I rarely tour but mainly do so from just one location when I do and could always just grab another pair of skins if I start touring more (looking at you Covid). I just don’t see needing two tele skis >110mm in the East especially given how well the Wren 108 does in 6-12”+ (guessing the same for the Woodsman 108s). 12”+ of fresh I could also just jump on the BGs if the 120s are across state (tend to try to keep those two skis spread). East coast pow gets trounced fast so I haven’t had any pow performance issues on the Wren 108s. I appreciate the versatility in the woods vs. 120s which need some deep conditions to keep contained in tight spaces.

I typically only alpine when things firm up because skidding around on true firm sucks in general but even more so on tele. I now tend to gravitate to alpine on groomer days. Groomer zooming on sunny days is a blast.

The quiver got changed up a bit this summer, mostly due to finding some deals. Still hoping to add a new touring setup to replace the aging chams.

18's (or 15's). Put them on hard enough snow and high enough speeds and you'll really appreciate that single-pivot toe.

I have a pair P18's sitting around that will likely end up on there. P15's would be perfect, but it's hard for me to drop that much money on a binder unless I defer ATK's for the Quixotes. I never really need to run my DIN higher than 10 or 11 (I weigh 155 lbs), but I can see how the stiffer toe on the P15/18 could be advantageous.

192 Movement Super Turbos: pow, hoping to CAST them if I can come up with the scratch. Had guardians on them for a few years and they ski so much better with pivots I don't want to go back to a frame binding ever again.

192 Cochise: Crud smoosh. Collapsed ~8" of edge last year so these might be on their way out. but I'll ski them till they explode.

190 Tanker: Skied these a bunch last year and really got to like them for what they are. A bit more easygoing than the rest of the fleet but super responsive and still stable. Great in dust on crust.

194 MX 98: No introduction necessary.

185 Invictus 95 Ti: I'll bump the px18's over to the exploders and mount these up with some attack 13's I have laying around. They're for skiing with the kiddos so I might as well lighten them up a little.

188 SS Pro: Brand new, just mounted them today. I would like to be buried with this ski.

192 SR 95: Looking forward to skiing these, they've been waiting for a spot in the lineup for a few years.

192 LP 105: So glad to have a pair of these again.

190 Explosiv: New to me rock skis, haven't had a pair in 15 years. Good to have a beater that can take a beating.

180 Line Pescado - Powskis
My favorites. Absolutely sublime it any amount of fresh snow from ripping huge arcs to popping around in the trees. Pretty fun cruisers for the spring time too. Plan is to insert these for the shifts too so that I can use these as my pow tourers.

184 Dynastar Legend Pro - Daily driver, cruiser
For days when I want to go fast and have the right crew that I dont have to wait around for. Mounted with all metal fks 18 so my legs will probably detach first and they weigh an absolute ton. These baddies are unmatched for top to bottom straight lines.

172 Libtech Backwards - Sundays in the park
For days when Im skiing park or skiing slow with slow friends. 92 underfoot and magnetraction allow them to grip into nice short 18m arcs. Pretty flexy and fun for just noodling around.

179 Line Sick Day Tourists - Sidecountry
My first backcountry rig. Got a couple of fun days on these last season harvesting corn. Hoping to get more days out this year.

192 DPS Lotus 138 (r3.1 f3) - love this ski in anything consistently soft, beat the shit out of my aching knees on the hard... so pretty much relegated to mechanized at this point. Had a few of the best days of my life on these sticks.
192 DPS Lotus 138 (r0 f2) – wary of mismounting, will likely finally get Shifts way behind the line [advice more than welcome from mags who know this era]

193 Volkl Sanouk - just the most fun
189 Kore 105 - giving this a try, hoping they'll make a good 50/50 travel option
200 DPS Lotus 120 (f2) - took these out more consistently than anything else last year, they just truck. disappointed in my choice of binding and they've got holes, but may try a remount regardless. Had most of the best days of my life on these.
185 DPS Cassiar A94 - for skiing with the wife (aka easy going low-tide/groomers)

I feel like we are kindred spirits as I have had/still have almost all these skis for the same reasons

Wow, undrilled gen 0 lotus 138s, that is a unicorn. I've skied many many days on those, -1.5 or 2 is where i would recommend. Would also warn that compared to your other bigger DPS skis these first iterations do not handle cut up or weird snow as well - their lighter weight and super thin construction means you will feel everything and get deflected easier. But in untracked snow, unmatched and still my favorite against any modern offering.

need to check, but may have some 190 9.1FF gathering dust that deserve to be out in the sunshine again.

Love that feedback on the early 138s. Figuring it'll become a deep day powder tourer - these days (with these knees) I need to be on something narrower in the resort. Absolutely loved the w105 for plowing through tracked out snow, fingers crossed you find 'em and are willing to part ways. Would help keep the average age of this quiver up too.

Recently moved to Utah and had to leave a bunch of my quiver in Europe, so three new skis in the lineup for this season.

Me: 6'1" (185cm), 170lbs, newish to backcountry

184 Moment Wildcat 101 - super excited to try this ski, needed something more damp for low tide resort days, interested to see if I regret not sizing a bit longer though I wanted to be able to take this ski to the park and have it be playful
192 Armada JJ UL - got this on a wicked deal, couldn't say no to $300 for this ski brand new. Gonna be used for deep pow touring days and maybe even some pow days on the resort. Never tried the ULs but have had a blast on the regular JJs, I'm assuming they'll ski quite differently to the WC 118s so could be a more playful option for a resort pow day.
192 Faction CT 3.0s - love this ski, gonna be my touring daily driver. Expecting a de-lam at some point, then will have to deal with overlap with the newer 112 models...
190 Moment Wildcat 118s - possibly resort daily here in Utah once we have enough base? Interested to find out how it skis with not much fresh.

Boots = 20/21 Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130s. Also have a pair of 19/20 Salomon S/Max 120s not pictured. Hoping that the new liners in the XTDs puts the Salomons to rest.

Very nice and well thought out. The JJs and 3.0s are awesome, and I’m curious to how you like the Monents. Also, where did you find the ULs for $300?
