I picked up a super nice pair of those LP105s for cheap this year and I've consistently been impressed. That's an awesome ski.
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer

A pair of Billy Goats will likely make it back into the rotation in some form. I spent the last year and a half on the Bodacious after over five years of skiing a Billy Goat almost everyday. Both are great skis, a bit different from eachother but used for similar conditions.
Generally I have found that I hang on to the 100-110 skis and rotate the wider and narrower boards. I don't know if it because that mid-fat width is just so good, or those skis are all just awesome, but that seems to be the trend.
My favorite skis are all in that width, and hence why I don't sell them. Personally I think the three directional mid 100s (Cochise, Vicik, Legend 105) are the best skis each of those companies have produced. I only have a couple of days on the Kartel 108, but I would be surprised if it doesn't become a long term member.

The Chronics came along and are a really fun ski in the park, bumps, firm snow and spring slush. When not mounted dead center, many of the directional park skis at 88-92mm wide are great firm snow skis if you are not just maching down smooth groomers. I have encouraged some non park skiers to get out on them and most have reported back positively.

Haha thanks man. You have me thinking about swapping my Ul Gpo's For a 177 Ul concept w a veneer(lighter/shorter) but the Canadian pesos is telling me otherwise plus it's a small tweak I don't really need.
Wow diggin Xavier's quiver too(nice choices and coverage)

Yeah, Xavier's is dope as well for sure! I would not recommend that Concept in a UL, just my opinion but it's a slayer for sure. I'd go MAP or MA, Veneer on either and MAYBE Carbon on the MA, just my opinion. Personally I want a MA Veneer but love love my MAPs and wouldn't trade em for anything but I'm curious what carbon would do or my want build on the opposite side!? Concept skis soooo much different than the GPO

Good to know . I guess I was thinking they were designed to accomplish similar traits in a different way and I'd have a bit shorter/lighter ski for switchbacks/climbing. They both pivot on a dime or carve a mid 20m radius turn. They would be my daily touring driver in place of my 182 Ul gpo , so no resort use . For touring I'd want Ul/carbon layup. Really want the fabled 119 waisted protest in a 177 or even a 177. Woo test though . Regardless, it's not going to happen this yr and I'm content with what I have . Just looking for minor tweak possibilities.

Agreed. All those binders look floppy. Dedicated HH man. (Still the best... got mine for rare use!)

Thats an awesome quiver for tahoe. Thinking of picking up a pair of wren 102s this season for when it is too hard for my Billy Goats....although a Skinny Goat would also be prime.

    After some rearrangement in the offseason and some binding hoarding- left to right, widest to narrowest: 190 Powderboards w/ Sth2 16, 192 carbon Hybrid Protests w/ Pivot 18s, Blizzard Spurs w/ FKS 180, 186 ON3P BGs w/STH2 16, 187 Praxis GPO w/ STH2 16, 180 Praxis BC Carbon Hybrids w/ STH2 16, 176 ON3P Jeronimos (awaiting FKS 155), 180 Blizzard Brahma w/ FKS 180

I'm thinking of rotating out the spurs and possibly the powderboards for something ~110ish and jibby, as brahmas will be taking over hardpack days and Jeronimos are doing mostly park duty.

How do you decide between the powderboards, protests, and Spurs??? Or BGs and GPOs???

Haha I forgot the disclaimer that the BGs and BCs are my brother's skis. Seeing as I'm the one who tunes/waxes/mounts them and I bought the BGs for him as a gift I more or less consider them part of my quiver 😁 I can take them for a spin if he's not using them. Helps that we have the same boot size. Similarly on real deep days if I'm feeling generous I let him use one of my fatties

It looks like you have mounted the bindings on the powderboards wrong.
Green is supposed to be on starboard side, and red on port. No wonder you are thinking about rotating them out, it must be very confusing when you're out skiing.
    It's correct on the GPO's
