That's why I added the "maybe", although I have never seen DSO.

Can we at least agree that they are a good Dead cover band?

I mean, it's a bummer when you hear something off the front side of Blues for Allah and the tempo is taken down a couple notches. That sucks.

YMMV. Phil & Friends didn't squash the tempo.

Anyone catch the relix billy and the kids? Watched a bunch of the clips on YouTube. Pretty solid.

I’ll probably see Dead&Co again, I’ll be happy with a cheap lawn seat at a shed show cuz it’s always fun to go to a show.

Going to see JRAD in two weeks, they’re on another level when it comes to tempo. And given the choice I’d see DSO over them too.

I really, really liked JRAD a few years ago.
I think I will try and buy tickets for Denver, and go with an open mind.
Just heard a few D&C songs on Sirius that I listened to with an open mind, and enjoyed.

Fun fact: the flight from Denver to Philly is exactly the same length as Hartford 5-28-77.

Pissah=good/nice. I’m from the South Shore. If it’s really good it’s, wicked pissah.

And, yes, DSO is the absolute best

There’s a reason I can’t ever call myself a Mainer, I’ve been here twenty years and been using Pissah wrong.

Not a huge fan of single drummer shows, I actually love Mickey Hart, he adds so much beef. I also think spring ‘78 is better than spring ‘77.
    Come at me!
Never listened to this one and only show from the Granite State, Jerry absolutely destroys on this Estimated Prophet.

The only thing about ‘78 (at least fall) is that you can hear a change in Jerry’s playing...in my mind, due to his opium smoking.

Went on a whole spring 78 listening tour it’s totally the goods - I he highs are high and the lows well they show some wear and tear...

Keep coming back to this one though

I’m an unabashed Bobby fanboy. Always loved is style and tone. This is great breakdown of just how good he is. Might need to rewind it to the beginning.

These are the two most insane GD opinions I've ever seen. 72-74 without Mickey = the best years.
