DSO freaking rules. It was their 21st anniversary show. And they sent it. 1/15/79 Springfield. One of Keith and Donna’s last shows. The Passenger in the first set was humongous. Shakedown was insane. They even played some filler at the end of the night, because they still had time. Jeff crushed a Torn Up to end the night.

I’ve always enjoyed DSO. Oddly enough, most of the times that I’ve seen them, they played original sets. But all of those times, Martin F. sat in for the shows, so it was a pleasant consolation.

Saw them in Lowell, MA last Friday night. Jeff M played the Wolf and they hit it out of the park with an original setlist designed around the Wolf. Seeing them Thursday in Portland too...

I’m going to the Concord, NH show on the 20th. I really like these guys. Rob Barraco is such a great player, and he’s so freaking chill. They sound incredible lately.

Yup, chatted with him last night at the Keller Williams show. They came into town a day early, he and Dino the drummer were out last night. They both were saying that Jeff is on fire these days

I'm headed to DSO on Sunday, haven't seen Jeff in a looong time so I'm psyched. I started seeing him with Volunteers in 1985 when they played a couple of small bars on LI then a couple of years of Zen Tricksters shows but have only seen DSO once right after they started. I'm going to try to get to at least one of the Tricksters shows next year, tix go on sale tomorrow for the first one.

Based on Tuesday night's show you will definitely not be disappointed! Jeff's playing and tone are spot on and the band seemed dialed in and listening to each other the entire show., enjoy.

I think they said 4/27/69 was the second set. Got a pretty amazing and unexpected Alligator in the first set and an explosive St Stephen in the second. Great show, may have to go see another one before they leave the NY area.
