Just watched whole show of jgb 9/1/90 on hazards channel- there’s not enough volume to do that justice.

Wow the scene was so chill back then. The first time ever saw a hacky-sack was 1980, that’s pretty wild.

Speaking of Phil, is there anyone that Brent couldn't make sound better?

Always loved, Tons of Steel, Jerry’s country-twang tone was perfect for this song.

I've been on a Dark Star kick lately and came across Oklahoma City Fairgrounds 10/19/73. A slower, melodic journey that I'm really digging.

Happy Birthday to Robert Hunter! I’m heading down to Boston to see DSO tonight.
Also 1985 was my favorite year seeing the band. 20 years old and ready to dose at any given time!

Seeing Hunter in Charlottesville VA was one of my favorite shows ever. I only have a couple of heros in this world. He is one of the two.

The Promontory Rider plays harmonica about as well as I do! I had this show on tape for several years stuck in the dash of my ‘84 Subaru wagon.

    35 years ago today.

My (now) wife and I had met each other that Spring but essentially confirmed the seriousness of our relationship after running into each other in the lot before the start of this show.

The first two songs say it all - 'love will see you through' and 'I married me a wife, she's been trouble all my life'.

Anyone going to Folsom this weekend? I'll be volunteering with Reverb on Saturday hocking Dead&Co Nalgenes if you want to stop by and say hello. Also have tickets for Monday.

Any recs on parking? I've never been to Folsom.
