I've been listening to different versions of Morning Dew lately given the current state of things. The whole band brings it on this one! Be kind and be well. Guess it doesn't really matter anyway....

This is a really cool look at that particular Dew, from a guitar teacher who is just getting into tGD and Phish

I've been checking out his posts for about a month, uploads a new one almost daily. He just posted one of Divided Sky from Cliffy, epic version.
https://youtu.be/54nDp7C9YXY
For any guitar players out there, he is worth the follow, he gives a lot of detail on scales, modes and definitely knows his shit. He usually doesn't know much (if anything) about the song he is posting about and some of his reactions are comical. For all of you who dislike UM, watch his review of Wizard Burial Ground (Bottle, pointing at you) from earlier this week, if not for the tune for his reactions to hearing it for the first time, it's worth it for the laughs alone.

I’m subscribed on YouTube and I don’t even play an instrument. I just like seeing people geek out on my kind of music. He rules.

Hunh, I never knew that was a cover.
The oddest Dead spin-off band I saw was Kokomo (mo’ coke, get it?) featuring Brent and Mickey. They played at a tiny club in Jersey. I snuck in for the sound check, Brent was literally shaking. Coked to the eyeballs.Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident

Yeah, it was mostly non-dead fun covers. Good times.
Yes, it was definitely Billy, I just got them mixed up.
Definitely NO experimental percussion going on.,.
I taped the show, but lost the tape somewhere along the way. I guess mine would have been the only recording.
I confess I don’t actually know much little Feat, even though I saw them a few times.Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident

Yeah I was thinking about that question the other day... above front row show at the garden (box was great) and 3-19-95 ubc were probably the last of my fond live memories. The pyramid in April was kinda fun too. Ran into jg and the band at the hotel at deer creek that summer but the whole scene was so surreal that it wasn’t very positive— jg looked at me after the show at the lobby door as if to say “you’re not the one who called in that death threat...” just a look and a shrug

I went to every show on this tour. Dosed at each one of them. The Orb Tour. Spring ‘86 is criminally underrated.
