Level Nine needs your help (and the possibilty for you to earn some store Credit

More spam I know but its that time of year. Like the title says we need some help.

I am looking for people who own a house or buisness in the Salt Lake Valley that would be intrested in having a 4x3 sighn in there yard for a month. In return you would get store credit at Level Nine. The catch is you need to be on a busy street, the places we are looking for are along Wasatch Blvd, Foothill blvd, Parts of Highland drive, anything on 5600 S or 900 E near Sports Authority. Or near the mouth of Parlys, Big or Little cottonwood canyons. Or if you have freinds that live in any of those areas that would be intersted that would great as well. We are trying this out if it goes well then it may last all winter and you would get credit for each month the sighn was up. Please PM with intrest of you or a friend we are trying to get some sighns up for this weekend and would realy love to have some up around the area of the sports authority.

    Thanks Fat Yeti

If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

I'm pretty sure that's illegal in a lot of neighborhoods.

I'm sure it varies by town/neighborhood, but I relate it to the first few replies in this thread:

You'd have to check with zoning (and you're probably covering several jurisdictions, though a lot of it is Salt Lake County.)

Salt Lake County Zoning ordinance - you want section 19.82 (Signs)

I don't think that's going to be permitted, unfortunately.

Although I doubt they could enforce anything having to with signs posted across the inside of a windshield of a car parked on the street in front of your home. But I'm not familiar with the area, so on street parking may not be an option either.

how is this any different than putting up a "Vote For......" sign or a "Protected By...." sign in you yard? it's your property, right?

Most sign ordinances specifically allow political signs during specified election periods.

The whole "it's your property" issue has limitations. You can't make meth, grow weed, burn tires, sell child porn, have open air strippers, sell beer to kids, play loud music all night long or shoot handguns at your neighbor's house.

My first reaction is that it sure must suck to work a place whose cash flow is so poor that they gotta ask the employees to go pimp on TGR to try and get some cut rate signage.

Yeah - the ordinance has a special section for political signs around elections - they have to be removed 15 days after the election day or something like that.

And you ARE allowed to put up signs (that conform to the standards in the ordinance) advertising ON PREMISES services. So if you're running a legal business out of your home, you can advertise it that way, but since it's an off-premises business you'd be advertising, I think they categorize that as a billboard. (And they freaking hate billboards in most of the jurisdictions around here).

Sucks, but I don't think it'll work like you guys were hoping.

frankskier lets just say we try to keep advertising cost down so our prices stay low, This is my 5th season working for them. I have worked there 1 year full time and the rest part time since I graduated from College. They have treated me good so I keep comeing back part time and the prices on grear at levelnine is better than most, maybe its not all fat skis and metal bindings but the meet the needs of a lot of skiers.
